Great tasty cheese. I actually reviewed the 1kg block of Woolworths Tasty Cheese a few months ago so my review of the 500gm block will be mostly the same. This Woolworth's Tasty Cheese did not disappoint! I was easily able to find this in the cheese section of my local Woolies. The 1kg block sells for $8 and the 500gm is $5. 80. I opened up the packet and portioned it out into ziplock bags to keep it fresh. I ate it straight out of the packet at almost room temperature. It didn't crumble too much and had a nice chew to it. It had a good taste- wasn't too strong but wasn't mild, just right for me. Also it was super creamy and melted in my mouth. I have nothing to fault with this cheese and think this is a great economical product. Bonus points for it being made in Australia! So the only difference between the 500gm and 1kg block of cheese is the price - $0. 80 per 100gm for the 1kg block and $1. 16 per 100gm for the 500gm block. This cheese has quite a long expiry date, you can portion it out into ziplock bags, take the air out, and freeze the cheese. So the 1kg block will be more economical. Otherwise if you can't go through a whole kilo of cheese, the 500gm block is still good and cheaper than all the other cheeses available.

Great Tasty Cheese. I bought this cheese to try as I had read many good reviews for it. I was not disappointed, it is delicious. It’s firm, tasty, grates easily and was nice just cutting a slice off to nibble on. It is a mild cheese, but thats what I like. The price was excellent. I used the whole block in two days. Grated some in a chicken mornay and a zucchini slice and melted in a toasty. Delicious in all meals. It will definitely be my go to cheese from now on. I like it better than the brand name we were buying previously.

Lovely tasty cheese. This was the cheapest block cheese on the shelf and I bought it to deter my husband from eating too much cheese. Unfortunately having to slice the cheese himself did not slow him down. He loves this cheese and I quite like it too. It is nice and firm and has a nice tasty taste. It was easy to grate and slice. The 500g size fits well into my cheese area of my fridge. Tonight I cooked Mexican Fried Rice with it and it went very well with the dish.

Family Favourite Tasty. We all love this cheese in block, sliced and grated form. This is our main tasty and we eat a lot of tasty cheese. The big block is the cheapest. Can't go past WW tasty cheese. It gets put on spag bol, pizza, cheese toasties, jaffles, hotdogs, burgers, chicken parmies, grilled cheese, sandwiches, crackers and anything else where cheese is appropriate and even some meals where cheese is inappropriate. We are a cheese loving family!

Love Cheese. A good all rounder of a cheese. It's great for making toasted sandwiches, grated on top of a casserole or with crackers as a snack. The flavour is mild, so you can add your own seasoning, to whatever you make. A good size package at a very reasonable price, when compared to other brand named products. This smaller size is good to take when camping for a few days or when space is limited in your fridge.

A Delicious Tasty Cheese. I like many others absolutely love this Cheese. It has a Mild but delightful Flavour so would be suitable for those that don’t like a strong tasty bite and certainly ideal for kids. The packaging clearly indicates that the Maturity Strength is rated at 3, has a Health Star 2. 5, along with Nutritional Information and a 100% satisfaction guarantee is offered otherwise a replacement or refund given. As it is quite smooth and creamy it slices and grates easily and I have used it in Sandwiches, on a Pizza, with Biscuits and on Toasties. I found it was delicious both ways either used plain or melted. I have also frozen some grated for future use thanks to a suggestion by @mimi67. At $7. 90 for a 1kg block it is exceptional value especially comparing to some other brand prices and fantastic that it is made from at least 97% Australian ingredients. Great tasting. I recently purchased this block cheese in place of the shredded cheese I buy from woolies (exact same cheese just in shredded form). I realised it was far cheaper to buy the block version of the cheese and shred it myself, although it is one extra step in cooking, the time spent is well worth the money saved. The cheese is smooth, tasty, creamy with just enough bite. Perfect in recipes that require cheese or on a cracker. A versatile product, great price and well worth a try!

Not too bad. Mild flavour, I use it for toasties, cheese sauce and just to eat a slice here and there. 'Real cheese' selection is getting smaller and smaller at my woolies store (only have 1 shop in the next town). Too many fake plant based cheese items taking it's place I won't be buying those rubbish items. It's real or nothing

Yes, it is Tasty. Good quality, Australian cheese. Nice mild flavour. Fills the all-purpose tasty cheese role well. Sliced, grated, melted, baked, platter-ed; all turned out well. Convenient small pack size to keep at it's freshest. Good value compared to other brands of same size. Even better value in 500g and 1kg sizes. Store-recyclable packaging.
