A bit too sharp. I recently tried Woolworths Vinegar Red Wine 500ml and have mixed feelings about it. Good, inexpensive vinegar. This Red Wine Vinegar was acidic enough but mild and rounded in flavour. 1/2 the price of other brands @$2. 50/500 ml, this is a price effective alternative for daily use. The vinegar is a naturally fermented vinegar, a product of Italy and packed in Australia in a recyclable bottle. I don’t use a lot of Red Wine Vinegar but I will purchase this brand again when the need arises. I made a Roasted Red Pepper and Red Wine Vinaigrette which I served with a simple salad, steamed potatoes and grilled Lamb Chops. What we love about Bunch is being introduced to strangers (new products), being reintroduced to old friends (products we haven’t used in a while, may have forgotten about & kick ourselves for not thinking of sooner etc), and having our best friends being brought back to us when we were missing them (a favourite product we have just ran out of or are running very low on). This item is a best friend which was on its last drop because we use it very often. We use it in a lot of recipes and my wife uses it as a basic Salad Dressing on her Salad. Star off for changing from a glass bottle to plastic. I love this red wine vinegar. It has the perfect tang. I used it in a lot of dishes from dressings, sauces, gravy, to putting a dash in everything from ragu sauce, casseroles, pretty much anything as it gives a lovely lift to everything. Especially rich dishes as it really cuts through the richness and freshens it up. Not being Australian made or using Australian ingredients is forgiven in this product. The price is good and the bottle size is perfect. It was easy to find on the shelf. The only negative is that this product used to be in a glass bottle. I find it disappointing that Woolies for all its noise on cutting out plastics has changed this to a plastic bottle.

No need for the named brands. I will be purchasing the WW Red Wine Vinegar in future. ok, it is a plastic container compared to nicer looking glass bottles of other brands, however the plastic is recyclable. The product is made is Italy which is fine. Tasting it straight obviously gives you that sour face taste look just like other brands. But was there a taste difference - we didn't think so, it seemed the same as other brands. We add red wine vinegar to many things such as salads, in a vinaigrette and even a splash in soup for that 'bit' of difference. It even has some health benefits. A great product Woolworths and for only a few dollars to purchase 500ml is great value. Thanks WW Bunch for the sample

Great value for money. This bottle of red wine vinegar is great value for money and is no worse than any other red wine vinegar I bought. It comes in a plastic bottle, which I am in two minds about‍♀️, I would probably prefer glass since it is an item that will not been used very quickly and will be sitting for some time in my pantry. I have mainly used red wine vinegar in some soups I make and some marinades. We use balsamic vinegar in our “normal” salad dressing, but if I want a vinaigrette dressing for a change, …. I prefer the white wine vinegar rather than the red wine vinegar since the red wine vinegar is more sweet and fruity. Thank you Woolworths for the opportunity do try this sample.

It is a great addition to the pantry and can be used for so many things from salad dressing to sauces, to perk up and soup, stew or casserole and to make salt and vinegar chips/wedges. It is good quality vinegar with a nice tart taste but not overbearing. They bottle is a great size and I was glad to see the ring pull when I opened it (making it tamper proof). It was easy to pull the ring off to open it and the vinegar poured easily from the bottle. Although not a product of Australia (and you know me I do love my Australian products) I am happy with this one as Italy do make some great vinegar products. Lovely dressing. This red wine vinegar has a lovely taste. It's tangy and has just a hint of sweetness. It is perfect for salads. We normally buy the Moro brand. The Moro brand is slightly richer in taste but this one is still very good. The Moro product looks more appealing (tall glass bottle, attractive label, gold foil seal around the cap) while this one looks like a no-frills product (plastic bottle and cap, plain label). The Woolies product is in fact half the price of the Moro one. Both are made in Italy. Since the Woolies product is still very good, we are happy to switch from Moro in future.

Nice Quality Red Wine Vinegar. Woolies Red Wine Vinegar can be used instead of A White Vinegar as it has such a milder taste. It can make a beautiful salad dressing or splash over fish and chips. I love to use Woolworths Red Wine Vinegar when making Corn Meat (pickled meat) for dinner. You just cover your meat with water and just simmer the Pickled meat with a slash of Woolies Red Vine Vinegar, a couple of cloves, 2 x bay leaves, 1 x diced onions, 2 x Table Spoons of brown sugar and 2 cloves of garlic. Cook for 30 minutes per 500grams. When ready take meat out of the water, sliced and serve hot with a white onion sauce. Absolutely delicious !! Any left over meat slice and have for sandwichesThanks Woolies for a great tasting Red Wine Vinegar.

As good as the more expensive brands. I found it difficult to differentiate between this vinegar and the more expensive brands. It was well priced and a good size bottle. It is made in Italy which is a bit of a shame not to be made in Australia. I dont use red wine vinegar a lot, but like it used in salad dressings and in the cooler months, lightly drizzled over mixed roasted vegies, like beetroot, beans onion, brussel sprouts and carrot and occasionally potato. Makes a nice change from white wine vinegar. and something a little bit different. It had a reasonable flavour, maybe a little on the sour side, but I didn't mind that.
