A crunchy, crumbly addition. Woolworths Walnut Pieces come in a 250g bag and have a current shelf price of $6. 30. The bag contains a mixture of small crumbled walnut pieces that can be used in a variety of ways. Serving suggestions on the packaging include using them in homemade banana bread or walnut loaf, adding them to salads or popping them on a cheese platter. I have used the walnut pieces in some baking, in a salad and as a snack. The walnut pieces were very fresh and I found that they worked well in each of the ways I used them. I also appreciated the convenience they offered by already being of a smaller size. Deliciously crunchy. I did have to search a little for these in the baking aisle with all the other nut varieties and sizes. Priced at $6. 30 for 250g I find a little expensive compared to the ones located in the fruit and vegetable section for $9. 50 for 500g which I usually buy when on special for $8 A good source of Omega 3 with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and come with a 5⭐️HR and are 100% Australian walnuts. These were chopped roughly in quite big pieces so would be suitable to add to a platter, sprinkle on a salad, add to muesli bowls or to cakes muffins and biscuits or to just munch on. I added a generous amount to a banana loaf and also to my salads. Of course I couldn’t not munch on a handful when making either. Delicious creamy texture ... MoreDeliciously crunchy. I think the bigger bag in the F&V section is much better value for money but if I could not get those then I would still recommend and would repurchase these ones.

Great Walnut pieces. These Australian grown walnut pieces are good quality, they're not bitter like some walnuts which are imported from other places. Good sized pieces, it saves me time from having to chop the whole ones into bite size. Delicious creamy texture with a lovely crunch. Perfect addition to baked goods and salads, or just snack on it as it is. Would definitely be buying these again.

Not the most economical. I used these walnut pieces in a salad - I coated them in a mix of olive oil, salt, honey, and cumin before roasting, to add extra flavour and crunch. The walnuts are also a great addition to baking, or on top of yoghurt and fruit. They are a great product, and I appreciate that they're Australian nuts. We normally buy the more cost-effective bag though, available in the fruit and vegie section; this bag is also Australian walnuts, but cheaper per 100g, when on special.

My Grandchildren loved them. I'm not a big nut eater @ the best of times, however my Grandchildren loved them. I do however like a good Carrot Cake, and luckily my daughter managed to salvage enough Walnuts to make the cake, it was topped off with the tastiest Mock Cream. Walnuts in a Carrot Cake is the best way to enjoy Walnuts, it works for me anyway. I had to buy my Grandchildren another bag of Walnut Pieces before I left. It was a great snack enjoyed by all.

Tasty & Fresh Aussie Walnuts. These Aussie walnut pieces are easily found in the dried fruit and nuts aisle in you local Woolies. I was thinking of different ways of using these and decided to make a no bake slice with these delicious walnut pieces & they turned out really well. These walnut pieces consisted of more whole or almost whole pieces of walnuts rather than smaller pieces, which was great. They tasted amazing & fresh as is, without dry roasting or baking. The pack doesn't have a snap lock, but that's no problem as I normally store my nuts in the freezer in a container. I dry roasted the required amount in a pan until nicely golden brown, left them to cool & chopped them. They smelled lovely and I tasted a couple and they were delish. These would go great in a trail mix, on cereal, part of a crumble, in baking or with your yogurt along with some fresh fruit. I'll use some of the remaining nuts over a crusted salmon bake & possibly in a Muhammara dip. I will continue to purchase these yummy walnut pieces as the flavour was excellent. * Price point at $6. 30 - 25g ($25. 20kg)* Bag is return to store

Walnut pieces. Huge fan of these as there is just so much you can do with them and they taste great. So far I have made coffee and walnut muffins as shown in my photo. I normally make coffee icing and top with walnuts but they smelt so good I just had to eat one while it was still warm. I also add them to my own version of a trail or snack mix with other raw nuts, sultanas, pretzels, seeds and mum’s. Tonight I will be adding some through my tossed salad which is just some lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, cheese, raw cauliflower, capsicum, celery and red onion, cracked pepper with a splash of Balsamic vinegar dressing

Delightfully fresh Australian grown. The walnuts are located near the cooking section in dried fruit & nut section. The light coloured blue packet was a little difficult to find as was on the bottom shelf. Cost of $6. 30 for 250g is moderately priced. Walnuts are lovely and fresh and I’ve used them in a couple of ways. Firstly, a few raw as a yummy snack and the second way is to top a Greek yoghurt with walnuts plus a few blueberries. They are really nice done this way. The price is OK but it’s hard to know what the real price is with so many price (pandemic) increases. Depending on price rises, I will buy again.

Great for cooking and snacking. I these in my hummingbird muffins, I toasted the walnuts which keeps them firm in the muffin. For the remainder toasted walnuts, I used them to top off the Afghan Biscuits, a recipe that my Grandma used to make for us when we were kids. I do need to hide these or my husband will snack on them and I find the container empty when I need some. Looking forward to using these more, the hummingbird muffins are a favourite for family and friends. Thank you for the opportunity to try this product.

Great crushed and used in a banana cake. I am not a fan of walnuts on their own and I also do not like nuts in a cake due to the texture difference between the nut and the cake, so decided to think outside the box so that I could definitely give a proper review. I know that walnuts are used extensively in banana cakes and I love banana cake. I just make mine without the walnuts. So, I decided to include walnuts in a way that I would be able to taste it without the texture issue. I finely processed a handful of walnuts in my food processor and added that to my banana cake mixture and then cooked it. Well, it was beautiful. I had a lovely piece of beautiful banana cake with the taste of slightly earthy, sweet walnuts. A great way to add protein to something and I will ... MoreGreat crushed and used in a banana cake. At $6. 30 for 250g they are a little pricey in my opinion however nuts are usually on the dearer side.
