No Sugar, Tasty and Good for You!!!!! Great in a Meatloaf!!! Well isn't it nice to see Woolies with their own wheat brekky biscuits, no sugar, great taste and a family favourite. In the colder months, I heat up some soy milk and pour on top they soon soften and its like eating a wheat porridge, can stir through different berries, honey, or diced peaches or prunes, whatever you like really and it warms you up on a cold day. Mix well and form into a meatloaf shape, cover with tomato paste andslices of tomato and fresh chopped basil is also good. 170C for around an hour and a quarter! I usually cover with paper and foil removing it when 3/4 done. Ty all for the great comments and replies, is what I usually say, but actually for this one when I was a newbie here there are none at all, so if you decide to comment, lol please feel free to do so! hugs always your friend Penny xxxxoooxxxx

Best breakfast biscuits since ... So impressed with this big box of delicious whole grain goodness. Great source of fibre, no added sugar, 1. 12kg weight equaling 72, yes 72 biscuits, makes it a winner on all levels. Plus the box is about half the price of those well known brands so also represents excellent value for money. Husband loves them with banana and coconut/almond milk, I love it crushed and mixed with fresh fruit especially berries and our 4-footer adores a biscuit mixed in with his raw food. Yes it's healthier for him too as opposed to all those sugar filled cereals and biscuits. Make it a regular on your shopping list. You'll have no regrets unless you're gluten intolerant.

Another positive for these (in regard to the 'plain' flavour) is that if desired, they will make a very good substitute for bread crumbs because they won't overpower whatever it is you are coating. (I used Weet-Bix once when making chicken schnitzel and it was disastrous because the malt flavour was too strong). Overall I found this product to be very good and way cheaper than the other two brands mentioned and I would definitely buy these again.

Good value but not my first choice. I decided to try these as they’re a better price than the name brands. I found them ok but I could tell them from Weetbix. I have my cereal with fresh berries and light milk and never add any kind of sweetener like honey, etc. Maybe this was why the taste difference was so noticeable for me. I also found there was a lot more crumbs and broken off bits at the bottom of the pack. Still good value though.

Healthy Breakfast. I have never been a great fan of wheat biscuits for breakfast but I did have some this morning. I had some yoghurt and fruit on it as I would other cereal and found it quite satisfying. It looks like I might be eating them again too. It is a pretty big box so I think it will take me a while to get through but I will be using some to make the bases for my cheesecake! Am pretty sure I have some other recipes hiding away that use wheat biscuits too. Looks like I will be baking tomorrow! Thanks for the breakfast biscuits and thanks for prompting me (inadvertently) to do some baking!

Taste Just Like Weetbix. My husband is a big Weetbix fan so he was my reviewer yesterday. He was impressed with the taste and said they did not taste any different to Weetbix. We did notice they are actually a bit smaller than Weetbix and did not hold together as well as Weetbix. When I took them out of the box to put into an airtight container they did start falling apart if I was not careful with them. The bottom of the bag at the end was filled with quite a substantial amount of broken bits. In saying that the price for this large box was excellent. I would probably not buy them though unless they came in smaller boxes my husband does not have Weetbix everyday so would take us a long time to get through them.

Great Value Breakfast Cereal. I was really pleased to be able to try these as I wanted to compare with our 2 other branded Wheat biscuits we have in the pantry, that is Sanitarium and Aldi. Firstly, the size of all the biscuits was pretty much the same. That is in height, width and length. Neither wheat biscuits crumbled in my hand when I took them out of their boxes. I had all 3 in my bowl with the same Almond Milk. (Sorry, I was so engrossed in the looking and sampling I forgot to take pics). The Woolworths wheat biscuits texture was similar to that of Sanitarium Weet-Bix. The Aldi brand was a bit finer and was slightly quicker to go soggy. The Woolworths wheat biscuits texture was similar to that of Sanitarium Weet-Bix. The Aldi brand was a bit finer and was slightly quicker to go soggy. The Woolies Wheat Biscuit had a nice crunch and stronger wheat flavour, and I couldn't really tell the difference between that and the Sanitarium brand one. The Sanitarium is made from 97% wholegrain, whereas the Woolworths Wheat Biscuits is 99% whole grain with no added sugar which is great. All made in Australia which is fantastic. Two of the boxes are the same weight, accepts for the Sanitarium Weet-bix which is 800gms more for the Value box at 1. 2kg. This, of course, makes them more expensive at $5 per box or. 42 cents per 100gms, compared to the Woolworths and other brand equaling at $3. 19 per 1. 12kg box or. 28 cents per 100gms. I noticed the Woolworths Wheat Biscuits only had a 4. 5-star health rating compared to the other brands both having 5 stars. I would think it is because the Woolworths Wheat Biscuit has much more sodium per 100gms, that is, almost 95gms more than the Aldi and appx 75gms more than Sanitarium. So for the many consumers that are on low sodium intake, I would like to see Woolworths consider making this a 5-star rating and lowering the sodium content. I doubt it would change the taste too much, as the Aldi brand has low sugar and sodium and there really isn't too much difference all round. I guess when deciding on your Wheat Biscuits, it will depend on whether you choose more sodium or sugar in the product because I think personally that is what it comes down to, not so much the flavour or texture or size as they are all comparable. I gave a 5 Star rating as both the price and taste was great. Thanks Woolworths for letting my try these Wheat Biscuits and make that informed choice I have been wanting to for a while.

Contains No Added Sugar. The wheat biscuit cereal wasn't a sample but I regularly buy these for my diabetic mum. I choose the Woollies brand as it doesn't contain any added sugars. They are cheaper than the branded version which is better for the hip pocket. It would be great if Woolies reduced the salt content in breakfast cereals as there are people with health issues such as high blood pressure, etc who need to reduce their salt intake. As I prefer organic foods, my first choice would be organic, but there are no organic wheat biscuits, without sugar available.

Below Average Wheat Biscuits. I have been wanting to try these wheat biscuits for a while now and decided to give them a try. I have to say I was quite disappointed at the quality. For starters what I found different to my regular Uncle Toby's Vita Brits is that the packaging is flimsy and the inside plastic is not sealed just folded. For me it needs to be sealed for freshness. Secondly the actual wheat biscuit is smaller than my regular Vita Brits. They are very dry and when you add milk they are quite mushy and not really appealing. I found them lacking flavour and the texture was just not quite right. A big thumbs up that they are Made with 99% Whole Grains with no added sugar. Taking this into consideration I cannot say that there is no difference to the name brands because you can tell the difference. Overall this product needs improving to be on par with other brands such as Uncle Toby's Vita Brits. Most definitely the quality, flavour and texture needs to improve before I will consider buying these again.

Excellent value. These wheat biscuits were very easy to find in store with their bright blue packaging. At $3. 20 for 1. 12kg they are excellent value with 72 biscuits in the pack. I love that they are a product of Australia and a 4. 5 health star rating. I found them a bit bland with no added sugar but this was easily fixed by adding some. They are comparable in size and flavour to high end brands and would be ideal for a family but this size package is just too large for me as it would take me a long time to eat them. I did not like that the wax wrapping bag was not sealed when I opened the box. I would also prefer them to be wrapped and sealed in at least 2 bags instead of one opened bag as for a box this size storage is a problem. I would not buy this size box.
