This is one of my favorite movies of this era.Campy, over acted, but great fun.Blu-Ray is worth the money as is the 16x9 format.A must own.

This feature has all the elements of a great science fiction film. It starts off in a classic design of a '50s spaceship and a crew that seems like a mix of college professors and longshoremen. The special effects are poor but that what makes the film precious. Astronauts back then carry revolvers which come in handy. The film has a strong moral message and a delight to watch. A case of good vs evil and the lesson to be learned. If you are looking for great computer generated special effects, don't bother watching this film, if you enjoy classic 1950s science fiction, don't pass this by. I gave it a five star rating.

This movie is a sci-fi-fi time travel classic. Several years ago, I purchased this title on eBay which turned out to be a home made bootleg and was of poor quality. This version is far superior with excellent color. The technology used and make up quality is laughable by today's standards but this movie is ripe for a re-make. The movie is about 4 men making the first trip to orbit Mars and on the way back to Earth, they get caught up in a time warp and land on earth in the year 2508. A nuclear war has occurred and humans mutated by radiation rule the surface. The astronauts take shelter and discover the surviving human population is living underground. awesome movie. 50s Syfy movies Are the best.
I love old SF movies, it gives us a glimpse of the time in which they were made, the fears and the hopes. This is no different as it shows man's drive to survive. Plus gorgeous women.
Real men and women might be our future
Another classic for my collection. A spaceship to Mars, time travel and gorgeous women. I love the old Sci-fi movies which did not have the special effects that they have now so they had to rely on acting. The movie is dated but still enjoyable. I also liked how they restored the movie for blu-ray. It is a movie the whole family can enjoy together where there are not too many movies out there for the younger viewers. I would highly recommend this to my friends.Check out some of the great classics on the Best Buy website. You will be surprised to find out what Best Buy has and some new titles to spark your interest.
Favorite childhood sci-fi movie. Apocalyptic future saved by astronauts flung into the future.
