Picture this: the year is Summer 2001, had signed up for a full load of college courses, 3 in fall/Spring semesters [2 1/2 months long; math classes, yes - Trigonometry, Calculus and such, 3 days per week and core classes 2 hrs twice weekly then 3 classes during summer (will explain that). Took me 2 1/2 years to complete Computer Science major, English minor. Worked unloading stock trucks (not horses or cattle) at night so wife and I could eat and rent a decent home. Final statement to justify to my fellow rough dressers - bought two pair slim fit Wranglers at a co-op farming store in 2000, still wearing those same 2 pairs in December 2023 with (same, dear, loving and beautiful) wife hand-sewing a white cloth patch at the upper inside left pocket.

Bought these for my husband in his normal size slim fits - 34x34. Fit ok on arrival. After they were worn for a few hours, they stretched out, became super baggy in the butt and upper legs like a relaxed fit, and he said he felt like he was wearing a saggy diaper! He is SO disappointed in these and the gray ones just like them. Too embarrassed to ever wear them again! And I cannot return them because I washed them to try to draw them up but they stretched right back out again. What happened to jeans that fit??!! He has not been able to find ANY wranglers in the last couple of years that don't do this. Says he is done and will never buy again.

I've worn Wrangler products (always the same size) for years. However, this November 2023 purchase seems different. WAY roomier, bigger, longer, and baggier than ever before. I bought two pair: 13MWZ and 936WBK. Each feels about 2 inches too big in the waist and several inches too long in the inseam, in addition to being completely loose in the thigh and posterior. I've never had to wear a belt with these, but now I do. Odd. Standards slipping?

I have been buying Wrangler jeans from Sheplers for years and years. These jeans are perfect in every way. They were made in Nicaragua and the material is excellent quality denim as is the fit and finish. They are perfect. The only mistake was one that I made and it is not a biggie: I should have ordered the style that is not so tight in the seat. I used to order 13MWZKL, which are brown denim Wrangler jeans that have a bit more room. These look good on me but my wife says I am too old for tight jeans! Since I don't have an ounce of fat on my I have to say that these pants are for very thin people. Still, the quality is there and I appreciate that. The chocolate brown denim replaced my lifelong usage of blue jeans once I saw how cool that brown color looks---I ... MoreI have been buying Wrangler jeans from Sheplers for years and years. The jeans are perfect. My son is tall and thin so it's hard to find jeans that are not too baggy or skin tight- haha. The only issue I had was the way the shipment was received. When the delivery driver gave me the order the package was not sealed and the 2 pair of jeans and my invoice (with my credit card info) were just inserted into the bag, exposed and could have fallen out or been taken. It seems that when the order was placed into the large plastic mailing bag it was not sealed. The tab was still on the flap- it was never pulled off so that the bag was sealed shut. I was disappointed with the carelessness of the shipment.
Ugh. So I do love y'all's jeans! But my only complaint is that I'm a woman and I have to buy your jeans in men's because y'all's women's sizing is so small! I'm an Amazon woman, very proportionate but also a giant. I want to buy clothes that are made for women but I'm always stuck going to the men's department and then the crotch area always fits bad. I refuse to buy jeans that have stretch/not-100% cotton because they are usually poorer quality, break down fast and I deserve real materials of this earth that we work on! Anyway, y'all do make some of my fave jeans but I just want your woman's department to stop sectioning off the plus size section as something separate with limited options, open up the size pool of your normal woman's styles to larger sizes! I went on a road trip to go shopping about a month ago. I found a pair of the Prewashed Tan as well as the 936DEN in my size at Boot Barn. They were one size larger than I was hoping to find, but I bought them anyway, because I didn't want my expedition to be one from which I returned empty-handed.With the 936DEN, you know what you are getting. They are my favorite Wrangler jeans (whether in 936 or Original or Relaxed - Rigid Unwashed is the way to go). With the Prewashed Tan, which look great in the photos, I feel like there are improvements that could be made. The fit is great. The quality is great. However, it would be cool if: 1) The Prewashed Tan was NOT Prewashed - if it was RIGID and UNWASHED, because then if you are stickler for keeping clothes as ... MoreI went on a road trip to go shopping about a month ago. The fit is great. The quality is great. However, it would be cool if: 1) The Prewashed Tan was NOT Prewashed - if it was RIGID and UNWASHED, because then if you are stickler for keeping clothes as new-looking as possible for as long as possible, you can treat them with a dye fixative such as Raycafix, like I have done to a few pairs of Wranglers and other items of clothing I have bought in the last few years, and then the color will hold for longer - This Tan, Prewashed as it is, really looks more like a dull beige than an actual Tan; and 2) Fully Wrangler-ify it. Make the stitching on the back pockets and elsewhere the same tan contrast stitching that is on your 936DEN and most other colors (except for the darks and neutrals, such as Shadow Black, ***Nightfire***, Charcoal Gray, your brown shades, and others - all of those should have the classic tan stitching as well). All of the Wranglers in your mainline styles should be completely Wrangler-ified with the classic patch and stitching.
Well to tell you the truth. That I do still by jeans from here but sometimes I think the problem is is that the jeans are Not what it used to be. And the jeans that I wear is size 27x34 and those jeans are Not 27x34 at all because I am a very skinny guy and those jeans don't fit because they feel like that they are size 28s around the waste and they are baggy and those are Not slim jeans and most likely they are straight leg jeans instead of slim jeans. And I usually buy the jeans 0936den size 27x34 most of the time and back the jeans were great back then But Now Not so much anymore because Now the jeans are made in Mexico City instead of being made here in America and I don't know why they changed that and they don't know how to measure and they don't know what ... MoreWell to tell you the truth. Because I don't like to waste my money on stuff that don't work because it's very disappointing and I don't like that and I'm thinking that I should return my jeans back and get my money back for poor quality and wrangler jeans company Needs to get their act together and fix the problem and I like my jeans to be tighter around my waist and tight around my legs But Not super tight No where I can't button No. But I like to have my jeans tight on my legs and thighs and waist and Not loose because the jeans that I have right Now are droopy and they are loose around my butt and they suck and they are the worst jeans that I ever purchased and I don't like them at all. Because I have spent a lot of money on that and what a waste and for goodness sake please get your act together for real because I hate wasting money that doesn't work.
I'd really like to get this Nightfire color as it is the darkest blue in the Wrangler Cowboy Cut line, however it is a "no go" for me because it does not have the tan Wrangler contrast stitching on the back pockets or side seams. I am sure that some of the designers at Wrangler wanted to create a clean, classic-looking very dark blue in their Cowboy Cut line; however they have already created a classic in their mainline Cowboy Cut design with the tan "W" stitching on the back pockets and side seams, tan side seam stitching, brass rivets, pleather Wrangler back right pocket brand patch, and the rest of the package that has sent a standard for denim design, in general. That they have offered such a great-looking color, but not in the full-on Wrangler look with the details I have mentioned above, is quite frustrating to me. It's great that they have the 936DEN and 936DSD, but this is a great, dark shade of blue, too, and it would be nice if it was available with all of the full-on, classic Wrangler branding.
I just ordered 2 pair of the slim fit cowboy cut jeans and they are awesome. I just wish they would fit over my cowboy boots better. They fit very tight over the boots and sometimes sink in to the top of the boot. All of the pictures show them being worn over cowboy boots but mine are very tight. I'm thinking maybe my boots will soften in time and they will fit better. All in all I love these jeans and wouldn't wear anything else. To be honest I started wearing Wrangler jeans in the 70s my Mom bought me these for school and here I am 60 years old and still wearing them. That should say something about Wrangler quality.
