Bought a size 50, could have gotten away with a 48 considering how tight I have to wear my belt to keep these shorts on haha. I do have big thighs, and these are even loose there and are comfortable to move, bend, squat in all day long, they have a bit of stretch and give without compromising durability of the denim. I liked the pants so much I wanted another color so I tried searching for the same pair everywhere. I find Wrangler's descriptions to be rather poor. These are not the pants I thought they would be. There is barely any flex in the waistband, so I'm disappointed because I thought I was getting flexible pants. Also, the jeans have too much polyester in them for me--I really hate poly and only buy full cotton. (This is my mistake in this case). I was excited because these pants came in a 28 inseam...normally I buy 29, but they can be too long for me (I am short-legged and low-waisted).I have bought other Wrangler jeans that actually flex, and these are obviously not the same ones--but who can tell, when there are 100 different kinds of jeans on the website. Great pants for the money. I have been wearing Wrangler pants for 50 years. I usually wear black cargo pants. Requirement of my job in the stagehand industry. But just recently I've been looking at buying a new pair of cargo pants. I have lost an incredible amount of weight and it's time to stop wearing baggy pants. When one of the main reasons I've always wore Wranglers is they have seven belt loops. Which is the minimum if you connect different things to your belt like flashlights radios and other items to make them set right. Looking through the new Wrangler pants out on the website now they only have 5 belt loops. Luckily these new pants had seven. But these are not for my work these are for casual wear.. I ordered 36:29, not 34:29 as shown above. I received 36:29. However, I had ordered the dark stone wash and received midnight rinse color. Was able to bleach them, but they are still a bit too dark. I like to wear them for work and every-day use; not for "dress-up" jeans. If I wanted midnight rinse jeans, I would have ordered them. So, I was a bit put out that y'all didn't send what I ordered. Other than that, Wrangler Five-Star Regular Fit Jeans are great. All I can find at the stores around here are the stretchy-cloth Wrangler jeans, and I hate that material. I was excited to find that the Five-Star Regular Fit Jeans is regular denim cloth are available on your web site. Once I found your web site, and found the jeans, I ordered immediately. I had one pair of these wrangler shorts that I purchased last summer. They are nice and fit comfortably. However, there have been times when I purchased wrangler jeans and the back pockets would roll down and not keep their shape.So I wanted some new shorts for this summer and they are not in the local store yet. You almost have to dig through them in the store, look at that back pockets, side pockets and if shorts the leg part. Any parts of them roll up do not buy them. Longer legs statistically have thicker thighs at the same waist size. If you wear an inseam 36 inches or longer, these "Relaxed" fit jeans will probably be tight in the thighs & loose on the calves. All these pairs of jeans with a given waist size get the same thigh width, regardless of what length the inseam is cut to; so, for taller people it becomes necessary to buy a larger waist size that *doesn't* fit their waist, just to get enough thigh room. The fact that THE LOOSE FIT CUTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN LONGER INSEAMS(!?!?!) is absolutely nightmarish. These Relaxed fit jeans are decent jeans, but people with longer inseams will probably end up swimming in the waist by the time the thighs fit.
I've successfully bought directly from Wrangler before, but this was a disaster. I rinsed the new jeans, put them in the washer, and the blue that came out literally damaged the washer to the point that I had to use steel wool to clean all plastic and metal parts. So I washed the jeans by hand FOUR more times and each time massive amounts of blue came out. I finally tried the washer one more time and it AGAIN damaged the washer requiring repair. I would never wear these, or sit on any furniture. Ultimately I threw them in the garbage as I wouldn't even goodwill them, affecting someone else. Waste of $30+ and I'll never order from Wrangler again.
Wrangler® Five Star Premium Denim Relaxed Fit Jeans are good quality jeans. They appear to be made well and strong.The sizing and fit were good. I purchased 34/32 and they seem to be similar to other brands in sizing.Caution: they are listed as relaxed fit, but they are clearly a loose fit. I am quite athletic and usually like a relaxed fit. I chose these because they are described to be little higher in the waste and thought they would be more comfortable. Everything is fine except there is just too much of them. You will notice the weight. They are too loose to wear for casual outings.I kept them due to the low price and wear them for work around the house.Good durable jeans for working.
