I gave 4 stars because this is my first purchase ever of a pair of Wranglers so I'm not sure about longevity. I'm guessing based upon reputation the durability will be good. There is literally nothing about me that is western style or "cowboy" so I felt like I was taking a chance. I was worried about them looking too "western" but they look fine even with a polo shirt and any pair of regular shoes or casual ankle high boot. I had been wanting a regular fitting denim jean in a charcoal or dark gray color as a base for the rest of my casual style but all I was coming up with in my searches were jeans with the stretch and it seems these days that's about all there is to offer. I hate the stretch so this was a strong selling point for me. So far the fit is good. I have long legs so I was happy to see the 34" length was more than adequate as compared to other jeans I have had where a 36" length would be too long but their 34" is good when I stand but hike up as soon as I sit. So far these do not. I also noticed when trying to put something in the back pocket that the pockets seem to be set slightly higher than what I have always been used to with other brands but that's no issue. As long as the other brands want to keep making the stretch stuff with no other options then I will keep buying these.

I've bought and worn these pants for the past ten or twelve years, two pair every year, usually purchased just before a six or eight week motorbike ride through Southeast Asia. Then to work for the rest of the year and the year after, so I usually have had two pair fairly fresh, and a stack in the cupboard getting steadily uglier. . .paint and epoxy and hard use. Covid meant no motorbike ride and I'm finally retired, so I've been wearing ugly jeans a while now. These most recent two pair seemed at a glance to be identical to the past, but interestingly, both pair had minor flaws. One pair had a visibly worn spot on the front of the right thigh, only the size of a grain of rice, which, upon being washed actually turned into a tiny hole. The other pair had a minor manufacturing defect at the top of the (white) front pocket and a general sloppiness in the edge binding overall. Perhaps a new serger operator? The defects will not effect my use of the pants, but they are interesting, not what I've been used to.

They are jeans so in that aspect there ok. But they are so cheaply made. Fun fact wrangler makes jeans exclusively for walmart out of cheaper material and out of a different contry than the jeans you know as wrangler. These are a "legal" knockoff of the wrangler jeans. Which is why i will not be buying wrangler again. These rip easy shrink very easily they are just crap. If your wanting something to cover your junk then these will do. If there for any kind of work these will fail you every time. I bought 4 pair and literally a month later they all have holes from ripping. And not even at the seam. They just pick a spot and rip

My husband has been wearing 13mwz rigid Wrangler jeans for his entire adult life. I typically buy them five pair at a time. The last ones we received were made in Nicaragua. The denim is much lighter than any previous jeans ordered and do not fit the same. Went back and check the tags in his old jeans and they were made in Mexico. We literally have these jeans away. Not sure what we are going to do now because we will not order any more if we cannot determine where they are made. Looks like Wrangler is cutting the quality.
This is my third pair of Wrangler jeans of this 13MWZ model. My other pair is Bleached and one of them is a Blue. Those did me well. Other black jeans tend to have this bad chemicalish smell to them and some have even had the color fade after washing them. These do not seem to have the smell but I have not washed them yet to test if the color washes off or not. A problem that is with all the 13MWZ jeans is the shallow pockets. I love these jeans except for that. The Shallow pockets are very annoying and painful because when you place your phone in the front pocket and then bring your leg up when putting your leg up on a bench to tie shoes or walking up stairs and other areas where you bend, the phone stabs into your waist area(beltline?). I have to take care of this ... MoreThis is my third pair of Wrangler jeans of this 13MWZ model. My other pair is Bleached and one of them is a Blue. Those did me well. I have to take care of this by taking my phone out of my pocket anytime i do something like this. Big problem that Wrangler should fix otherwise great.
I am 72 years old and always have 2 pairs of Wrangler jeans because I have to wear slacks to work but love my jeans all other times. I have somewhat skinny legs so I returned the Cowboy cut jeans. Then I bought a pair of dark blue straight leg 36W 32L jeans at a western shop in North Charleston but they were somewhat loose in the legs and quite long in length. I then ordered a pair of 36W31L bleached pair and washed both pairs in hot water and dried them hot. The 36w31L bleached now fit quite well and the other pair will fit well after a few more hot washes. I think I am good to go for a while. I am surprised that more stores in the Charleston, SC area don't carry a full selection of your jeans. Thanks! Burk Herrin
I ordered these because Wrangler stopped carrying the bleached color of the George Strait Cowboy cut collection a couple years back. I thought these would be comparable but they are not even close. The material feels cheap and thin, the reason I used to love wrangler jeans was how comfortable they have always been. It would feel like you were wearing sweat pants instead of jeans. Another reason these were not up to my liking was the color, this bleached color is a bit deceiving, because they are much darker than I would have preferred. To me it was just a light wash not a truly bleached blue color.
I BOUGHT TWO PAIR OF THESE FOR MY SON. IN ALL OF HIS OTHER WRANGLER, AND ALL OTHER JEANS HE WEARS A 30x36. THESE WERE VERY SMALL AROUND THE WAIST AND WOULDN'T COME CLOSE TO BUTTONING. I DID A REVIEW, THEY TOLD ME TO CALL THEM, WHICH IS A JOKE. ZERO HELP AT ALL.FIRST RHE LADY SAID THAT SINCE THEY WERE DEFECTIVE, THEY COULD SEND A REPLACEMENT. THEN, SHE CHANGED HER STORY AND SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO SEND THE SAME SIZE. WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE??? YOU GUYS MADE THESE WAY TOO SMALL, AND TELL ME THAT YOU CAN SEND A REPLACEMENT SINCE THEY ARE DEFECTIVE, THEN YOU CAN'T!! WRANGLER HAS GONE DOWN HILL RECENTLY.BUYER BEWARE!!! IT'S HARD TO TELL WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO GET WHEN ORDERING FEOM HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!
The 13MWZ is a reputable classic, so I thought I should give them a try. I wasn't disappointed.Pros:• The waist fits perfect, almost a tailored 'esque fit.• It's in between medium and heavyweight construction, so it isn't extremely stiff or hard.• Stackable, but doesn't look sloppy.Cons:• 16" leg opening struggles with thick shaft boots. Owners of Ariats and Justins might have fitment issues. An opening of 17" - 17½ would be more ideal.Overall, I'm highly satisfied with my purchase.
Been wearing Wrangler jeans for most of my life, and, always got the rigid and broke them in myself. Then it got to be they were not available in stores. Started wearing the prewashed and there were so many different styles and was not always able to get the same style. They did not wear well in my rugged life. The crotch area was always the first to go. The rigid cowboy cut jeans was like finding an old friend. Hopefully they will prove to be the jeans I originally relied on. We will see.
