Blew out after 5 wears

These fit great and looked great, and though i was not crazy about the spandex (cause stretchy jeans are the thing now), i liked ‘em. However, after wearing them and washing them about 5 times (and not hard wear, I’m talking casual, dinner date wear) they blew out 2 holes by the inside rivets of the back pockets. I paid full price for these, over $60 and i expect at that price for a pair of casual jeans to last me years. This is the worst quality pair of jeans i’ve ever bought and will be my last pair of wranglers. After seeing the other reviews on here, this appears to be a common issue with these. Look at the photos and read the reviews, BUYER BEWARE!!

Good jeans to be wearing in a chainsaw accident

Fortunately, I know exactly which ones I'm buying.

Great fit, bad quality

I bought two pairs of these jeans and loved the way they fit. After a few weeks of wearing them the back of the jeans around the inside of the back pockets started separate. I thought that this issue may have just been a defect in these two pairs so I decided to see them up and buy two more pairs. The new pairs arrived and this time I inspected them for this same defect. The material around the pocket on one was very thin and the other had already separated. I will say that these jeans fit very well and I would love to buy more of them, but can't justify spending this kind of money on jeans that are not quality. Wranglers have always been known as a sturdy work Jean but seems the quality is not what it used to be.

I would definitely buy this product again.
14 September 2024

I love the jeans. They are comfortable and fit well. They fit over my boots without being too baggy or showing the outline of the top of my boot. I could go with them being a bit softer, but they are good as long as they hold up. I temporarily marked quality as good because the last two pairs of Wrangler Retro jeans ripped at the back pocket after a couple wears. Unfortunate for expensive jeans I loved. These seem to be sturdy and I've worn them a few times with no issues. So far so good.

Inconsistent Sizing & Poor Stitching
20 February 2023

The sizing in these jeans is very inconsistent. I bought several pairs online and each fit different. I later found in the reviews that this is a problem with these jeans. I found a store that sells them and I had to try on multiple pairs in the same size until I found one that fits right. I highly recommend you do the same. Also, lots of fraying in the stitching and tiny tears in the material. Rather than sending them back I just these for outdoor work. If these we made a little slimer below the knew and kept the leg opening to 16 inches, I think they would perfect.

Not low rise as advertised
13 May 2024

These are no where even close to low rise. When jeans sit 2 inches above my belly button I know they're not low rise. For years I wore Levi's and then at one point in time they went wonky and their sizes were incorrect, I dislike elastic, they took away belt loops and I was done with Levi's. I went back to wrangler and was very happy with the quality of the garment but they were also very loose. I had an exorcism. Levis 511 is the only thing that fits me (:<It has the elastic and not enough belt loops but the fit is perfect. " You don't always get what you want" etc etc.

Possibly

I've given plenty of feedback directly to Wrangler but haven't seen anything change. They always claim they are passing along the feedback but who knows. What I've found is the length of every pair I buy doesn't match the stated length on the tag. They are always shorter than stated. I've begun ordering 36 length just to ensure I get 34 actual length. The quality control is awful. I had to reorder one pair four different times before getting what I needed. This particular color also fits tighter in the waist than all other colors in the same style.

Premium price for less than standard quality
12 February 2024

I bought these jeans specifically to wear when I need something nicer than my everyday work jeans. I have worn these maybe a dozen times since purchasing to literally go to church or out to eat with family. They have not seen any sort of real work and yet they already have a 1 inch tear in them from the back pocket. I have SEVERAL cheap jeans, which are less than a third of the price, that I wear in a machine shop for work and they have lasted me well over 2 years now with no issues or tearing. I would have NEVER expected anything near the level of quality that I got from a wrangler pair of jeans and it will be the last pair I ever own.

Sizing inconsistent with label, wrong wash provided, etc
2 April 2024

Ordered the exact same pair of Wranglers that I've been wearing for a few years in the same size and wash. The current pairs have developed holes in the crotch after about a year of regular wear. Second year of them dying in a year or less.Despite matching numbers on the tags, the two pairs that I received couldn't go above my hips, showing an inability to make sizes consistent with measurements. Considering the sizing number is correct, but the actual size of the jeans is wrong, that's a challenging decision on what size to select for a potential exchange--do I hope that this was simply mislabeled, or has Wrangler changed their definition of 34x32?Additionally, the wash that I requested is not what I received. I tried to initiate an exchange, but was told that I can only swap for size, and that any color change is a return, even if the error is not on my part. That means I am now forced to initiate a return, which is going to cost me $7.99 in restocking fees, plus shipping. This will be the last time I purchase Wrangler jeans online, and maybe at all moving forward. I've already replaced the worn out pairs with Lucky Brand to see how those fare. I would recommend avoiding online purchases from Wrangler, and only buying in-store where you can physically verify size and wash.

This color not made well
29 April 2023

I've purchased 3 different pairs of the retro slim straight pairs. The diamond acres color is the only one where the feel of the Jean is different from the other colors. This color is stiffer and not as stretchy as the other jeans. Also, on the right leg, the outer seam is twisted to the point where it crosses over the right from leg when wearing. You can see the difference between the right leg and left leg, where the left leg's outer seam is straight and normal. Seems like a manufacturing error. Overall, this color is made poorly and lacks quality control. The other colors are much better, especially the Bozeman.
