Comfortable Stretch

These are a very comfortable pair of jeans. I purchased the witicha wash and they are very soft and have the perfect amount of stretch. They don't feel as thin as some jeans that are a cotton blend. I do recommend sizing down one or two sizes with these jeans. I normally wear a 32 inch waist but ordered these in a 31 and I could probably have ordered them in a 30. So they are cut a little larger so if you want a snug fit or are used to other wrangler slim fit like the 936 I would size down.

Good jeans to be wearing in a chainsaw accident

Fortunately, I know exactly which ones I'm buying.

Inconsistent Fit

I bought several pairs online and in store. None of them have a consistent fit. I do not understand why Wrangler has this issue. My advice is to buy them in store and try on multiple pairs of the same size until you find one that fits just right. The stretch is great, but they are truly not a slim jean. If they were a little slimer below the knee and kept the opening to 16in, they would be ideal. Also, one of the jeans I bought online had frays in the stitching and tiny tears in the material. Returning them is just a pain so I just kept them and use them for outside work.

Inconsistent Sizing & Poor Stitching
20 February 2023

The sizing in these jeans is very inconsistent. I bought several pairs online and each fit different. I later found in the reviews that this is a problem with these jeans. I found a store that sells them and I had to try on multiple pairs in the same size until I found one that fits right. I highly recommend you do the same. Also, lots of fraying in the stitching and tiny tears in the material. Rather than sending them back I just these for outdoor work. If these we made a little slimer below the knew and kept the leg opening to 16 inches, I think they would perfect.

Never again---THEY ALL RIP AFTER 1 or 2 WEARS
28 February 2022

I ordered my son 4 pairs of Wrangler Retro Slim Fit Straight leg jeans for Christmas. ALL FOUR pairs ripped at the corner of the right back pocket within 2 weeks. They said I could send them in for warranty and admitted they had a "quality control issue at one of their plants but it had been rectified". They said I wouldn't be get the replacement pants for at least 12 weeks. So I sent them back and requested a credit and ordered 3 more pairs of the same jeans since the problem "had been solved". Got the next 3 pairs in.....THEY ALL TORE. In a different place this time. He put a pair on and bent over to get his shoes and the butt of the jeans tore. Not a seam. Just halfway between the pocket and middle seam. And he doesn't wear his pants tight at all....these are ... MoreI ordered my son 4 pairs of Wrangler Retro Slim Fit Straight leg jeans for Christmas. Poor fit
14 December 2022

Not happy with Jean quality. Purchased one pair and tried them on and they fit well. Realized after getting them home a white stripe (flaw)in the pocket. Took them back for exchange. Exchanged them and brought the new pair home and they fit completely different. Not slim at all, but baggy. And they do not sit low on the waist as advertised. Not even close. Just going to keep them as I don’t want to travel back to the store again.

The quality of these pants has went from great to awful
7 November 2022

I've been wearing these jeans for years I've blown through 2 pairs in the last month. One pair I only wore 3 times before the pocket ripped. I have a pair from over a year ago which I still wear today with no issues. The pocket ripping has become an obvious issue. I exchanged them and I'm going to the 20x. If the same thing happens with them. The. I give up and I'll have to probably start buying something else. Obviously from comments I'm not the only one. You guys really need to fix this or your are going to start loosing your loyal customers like me.

These are not slim straight at all.
10 September 2022

I really like the retro "skinny" jeans because they fit great and were stretchy for work. Wrangler discontinued them so I started looking for another pair of jeans and found these. Looked at the picture for "jacksburro" and ordered a pair. They are literally HUGE. Not a slim straight or even close. They are baggy and sloppy. Looks absolutely nothing like the picture....

This color not made well
29 April 2023

I've purchased 3 different pairs of the retro slim straight pairs. The diamond acres color is the only one where the feel of the Jean is different from the other colors. This color is stiffer and not as stretchy as the other jeans. Also, on the right leg, the outer seam is twisted to the point where it crosses over the right from leg when wearing. You can see the difference between the right leg and left leg, where the left leg's outer seam is straight and normal. Seems like a manufacturing error. Overall, this color is made poorly and lacks quality control. The other colors are much better, especially the Bozeman.

Wonderful jean except the quality isn't there.
3 November 2022

My son & I both prefer this jean because of the great fit & comfort but the quality isn't there. My son wears these to school & has been through 8 pair so far since school started in August. Our last purchase was October 20th and one pair has already started ripping!!He sits in seat & walks up/down hallways but every pair has ripped right beside the rivets that hold the rear pocket on. I can't say it is anything he is doing 'wrong' while wearing as I have had 4 pair do the same to me since summer. Every one rips right down beside the rear pocket so unless you have an industrial sewing machine, there isn't any way to repair on your own. Don't want to go to another brand but with this quality issue, I can't keep buying these!!
