I gave 4 stars because this is my first purchase ever of a pair of Wranglers so I'm not sure about longevity. I'm guessing based upon reputation the durability will be good. There is literally nothing about me that is western style or "cowboy" so I felt like I was taking a chance. I was worried about them looking too "western" but they look fine even with a polo shirt and any pair of regular shoes or casual ankle high boot. I had been wanting a regular fitting denim jean in a charcoal or dark gray color as a base for the rest of my casual style but all I was coming up with in my searches were jeans with the stretch and it seems these days that's about all there is to offer. As long as the other brands want to keep making the stretch stuff with no other options then I will keep buying these.

I have been buying these jeans in a 32x34 for the past couple years. However, in the last year alone I have had to bought 6 pairs of these jeans and they have all torn MULTIPLE times. The fabric starts separating near seams, but the seams aren't coming apart. Always in the crotch and at the top inside corners of each back pocket. My wife will patch these jeans and it is not uncommon for them to tear in a completely new place within a week. These are not tight fitting on me so the fabric is not under high strain. The fabric is just garbage. 99% of the tears look like the one in the picture or have even less fabric remaining. They are usually similar size, sometimes 3 or 4 inches in length.It's a shame that they don't make this cut with the same fabric they use for ... The fit and the quality of these jeans are outstanding. I've tried other fits from wrangler over the years but these are hands down the best. I have an athletic build with larger thighs and butt, but the fabrics gives enough stretch to allow me a more modern "slim" fit through the thighs without being restrictive. 100% cotton styles that allowed me full motion would leave excess material when standing straight, which is the classic look but not what I prefer these days. WRANGLER TEAM - please make these in a light wash (maybe not bleach light) - this style could be a huge hit with the younger crowd who still likes a classic western style, but you'll need to expand the washes to meet the demand! I bought these jeans 4 years ago just before I moved to Alaska to run tours in the back country. I bought these thinking they would be my off-duty jeans but they turned out to be my daily, nightly, go anywhere, do anything, constant companion jeans. I've climbed mountains, run from caribou, worked construction, gone on dozens of dates, ridden 1000's of motorcycle miles, and most importantly LIVED in these jeans. They are the jeans I reach for time and time again when I need a pair of pants that will handle everything and anything the day can bring. As a 6'0 135lb it's not easy to find jeans that fit my frame AND make my butt look darn good. I have been buying Wrangler jeans from Sheplers for years and years. These jeans are perfect in every way. They were made in Nicaragua and the material is excellent quality denim as is the fit and finish. They are perfect. The only mistake was one that I made and it is not a biggie: I should have ordered the style that is not so tight in the seat. I used to order 13MWZKL, which are brown denim Wrangler jeans that have a bit more room. These look good on me but my wife says I am too old for tight jeans! Since I don't have an ounce of fat on my I have to say that these pants are for very thin people. Still, the quality is there and I appreciate that. I bought the exact same size (waist and length) in two different colors Whiskey and Tan, and they are very different fits. The tan is VERY baggy around the waist, bunches up under my belt, and the length is ridiculously long, I have accordion legs. Whereas the Whiskey has a nice length and stack on my boot, and the waist is slightly better but I'm not getting the desired #WranglerBooty the ladies lust for.. and I've got some yams. I'm hesitant to order another pair because I don't know how it will fit. I might suggest going one waist size smaller and staying true to your length for a good boot stack. It's a major issue.. these jeans are known for their legendary fit. They're beautiful jeans, but I look like a clown until I go to a seamstress. Please address this ... While one pair in the old line of "Green" jeans fits absolutely perfect, the other two don't have the same fit. The waist size is always consistent, but there are more things that go into consideration when getting a pair of great fitting jeans. The legs on these fit too loose around the thighs. These are nowhere close to being slim in the legs. Another issue that I've found is that the inseams vary as well across colors. No big deal as I always order western jeans to be long anyway. Being that this is their premium line, I expect them to fit consistently across all colors. This line of jeans is hard to find in stores, so I purchased online directly from Wrangler only to be ... I'm an Amazon woman, very proportionate but also a giant. I want to buy clothes that are made for women but I'm always stuck going to the men's department and then the crotch area always fits bad. I refuse to buy jeans that have stretch/not-100% cotton because they are usually poorer quality, break down fast and I deserve real materials of this earth that we work on! Anyway, y'all do make some of my fave jeans but I just want your woman's department to stop sectioning off the plus size section as something separate with limited options, open up the size pool of your normal woman's styles to larger sizes! They were one size larger than I was hoping to find, but I bought them anyway, because I didn't want my expedition to be one from which I returned empty-handed.With the 936DEN, you know what you are getting. Make the stitching on the back pockets and elsewhere the same tan contrast stitching that is on your 936DEN and most other colors (except for the darks and neutrals, such as Shadow Black, ***Nightfire***, Charcoal Gray, your brown shades, and others - all of those should have the classic tan stitching as well). All of the Wranglers in your mainline styles should be completely Wrangler-ified with the classic patch and stitching.
Very disappointed in Wrangler. What used to be a reliable brand is now a cheap, quick money grab company with horrible customer service. Jeans are way too tight unless your legs are tooth pick thin. They are extremely uncomfortable, and just look cheaply made.I bought 4 pairs jeans while they were on sale buy one get one 50% off, all the jeans were the same price. Since the jeans did not fit around my legs (way too tight), I gave them 2 pair to younger cousins as gifts because they might fit them. When I returned the other 2 pairs, I was only refunded for each of the jeans that were 50% off. So I only got 1/3 of my money back for returning half the jeans (again all same price).
