Great product from Wusthof, beyond expectation. Had a MAC MTH-80 which is still around. My wife & I were competing for the chef's knife when preparing the meals. Now with 3 more knives I guess I'll have to put my beer aside and get to work. Delivery was quick with Canada Post and package in a mint condition. Chef's knives must be handled with care and Wusthof is no exception to that. I recommend both Kitchen Essentials (great price BTW) and Wusthof as well ! Jean-Pierre

Stunning set of knives. So sharp! My sister insisted these were the best as she has used them for years (she's more of a chef than me). Once I decided that I wanted better knives I made the mistake of buying cheaper knives only to be completely disappointed. Then I bit the bullet and purchased these (my first set). They do NOT disappoint!

We love these knives. The blades are light and well balance and a pleasure to use. They are so sharp all three cut soft tomatoes! And since they are made of German harden steel I expect the sharpness to be maintained for awhile.

These are the BEST knives I have ever used. I really like the style, the handle is very comfortable to hold. There is quite a bit of weight to the knives, which I like, but they are very balanced. They are very sharp and retain their sharpness for quite awhile too. I would definitely recommend this knife set to anybody looking to start their collection of very good knives.
Being a Japanese knife fan, purchasing a German Wusthof Classic Ikon chef芒鈧劉s knife was going to be a risk for me. No fear..... what a great knife. Fits well into my hand, well balanced, very very sharp, cuts with ease and feels quality. My only reservation about this knife is it芒鈧劉s weight. Compared to my Kasumi, this Wusthof is heavy. It took a little time to get use to the weight. Japanese knives are light and well balanced. Beware...this knife (like all quality knives) needs special looking after. No dishwasher for cleaning, no chopping bones or frozen food, it芒鈧劉s hand washing and drying. A real bonus with this knife is that Wusthof offers free lifetime sharpening. Recommend
The knives are pricey, but very good quality. If you want a lifelong set of knives they might be worth the price.

We bought our first set of Wusthof knives from Myers over 15yrs ago. Now our children are setting up their first homes it was one of the first gifts we thought they could use.
