This little gadget is exactly what we wanted. Instead of using a knife, this is so much easier when cutting up things like parsley and chives, thyme, and even when you want to cut up bacon into little pieces. There is no way that you can possibly cut yourself using this gadget. Also, you can tell that the blade is super quality as well as being super sharp. We paid a lot for it in my opinion, but the quality is there so it's a case of getting what you pay for. Pity that we never had this item years ago. Initially, my wife was hesitant, but now she uses it all the time as well.

It’s flimsy and poorly made. They should stick to quality products and not the cheap option. My other wasthof knives are top quality.
