Its been about 20 years since the last time I purchased a wrestling video game but have considered getting WWE 2k for awhile now. With a new version coming out next month, this game was at the right price point so I pulled the trigger. Walmart was the only place that still had it for Xbox One in stock and I was able to get it delivered with in 26 hours of purchase.

Much improved from previous versions of the game.Feels a bit like a transitional game where they've almost perfected the foundation with both myRise and myGM modes but both modes feel too simplified and need a lot of expanding on in the next versions.MyRise has a lot of stories but all of them are really short with no long term storytelling/continuity.MyGM only lasts for a year so the idea of a long term save is unfortunately unavailable.Not sure about myFaction, if it was online it may have been a nice game mode but an offline card collecting game doesn't really make much sense to me. Again, something which feels like it's the start of something much bigger and I'm expecting it to be an online mode in 2k23, hopefully not something that will be pay to win.

Do not buy.

Waste of money. I bought on PS5. One thing I liked about wwe games was being able to make a character that looked like me or who ever I wanted but now they're presets. I'm kicking myself for buying this. The in ring moves are nearly impossible to pull off the simplest grapple. The characters are Jerry and don't lock on. Buy a different game.

Great Game at a Great Price

Amazing Service from Mighty Ape. The boy is really pleased with this. Graphically this is still very impressive even if its only Xbox One. To boot we got a free poster too! This was very unexpected so a massive Thank You.

Great wrestling game

WWE 2K22 is the best game since 2008 smackdown vs raw. Great. Lots of fun and they have approved all the gaming mechanics. No more stupid mini games to get out of holds etc. Simple fun and enjoyable.

It was a gift

Its a Christmas present so it hasn't been used yet however the back of the case is in spanish? Just hoping the game isnt going to be in spanish. We stopped into our local walmart they said that it shouldn't matter and they didn't have one to exchange it. So, hopefully they are right.

Mid-tier

It's very arcade like, i prefer the simulation from previous games but its not a dealbreaker. The updated models, attires, entrances are great. Kinda grimey how they took advanced entrances out without telling us. There are lots of missing characters, like how can you have Road Dogg in the game but no Billy Gunn? APA Farooq but no Bradshaw? No DX?? Come on 2k. Characters that were in previous base games now have to be paid for like Rhonda Rousey for example and others are locked behind the MyRise mode such as JBL. In my opinion 2k19 is still the superior game despite being outdated. 2k22 is a step in the right direction but it leaves more to be desired.
