So Xbox is more affordable! When Xbox does upgrades they do things that makes sense, for one point. Like making sure all games and systems are compatible. I ordered the physical $50 MicroSoft Points Card for Xbox Live. I used if for Xbox 360 Games. The card arrived in proper packaging (bubble wrap manila envelope) and it arrived on time, so no complaints there. On the $50 Car, I peeled down the cardboard paper back, to then expose the area where you "scratch off" the grey sticker bar, so as to see the 24 digit code.A tip: don't "scrap" or "scratch" off the grey sticker bar with anything. Just gently lift up the edges and very carefully peel back the grey sticker bar to expose the code points. It's better and just less messy to do it this way. Scrapping and scratching can damage the card and make it difficult to read the code.Enter the 24 digit code into your Xbox Live Account and you are good to go! The $50 is added into your account balance!$50 MS Points can certainly go a long way in buying a variety of DLC (downloadable content) for games you already own. It's also good for buying Downloadable Games on Xbox Live Arcade and in their On-Demand Store.$50 might be pricey for some, but its worth it because you get the amount of MS points you paid for. Just remember that Xbox has shifted from the old MS Points System over to numerical dollar amounts. So, if there is a DLC that costs $5.99, you will be paying exactly $5.99 out of the total balance in you Xbox Live Account, and not some obscure number like 800, 1200, 1600, 2400, or 4000 MS Points like with the older method.Anyway, enough rambling on my part. The $50 MS Points Card is definitely worth the purchase!

I needed to buy 10 of these for a birthday gift I was doing for my son. Granted the codes arrived in my inbox within 5 minutes & I'll definitely purchase again in future as it will save adding & removing payment details on the console, butFirstly you could only purchase 1 at a time, very time consuming.Secondly after my 4th purchase, kept declining my card even after I had approved purchase in my banking app. Tried my husband's card & only got to purchase one before it kept declining that card to, I had no choice but to purchase the remainder elsewhere, dissapointed & frustrated
Now, the only way I will get this from Best Buy is if it is on sale. Ever since they took away the point system where you would get points for purchases, aren’t really worth getting from Best Buy my main reason for going to Best Buy all of these years to get my game cards And a lot of other things is because it was a point system that it went by and you would get rewarded for it now that that is taking away. The next best option is going to another store. Unfortunately I’m really upset with the new way that they’re doing things that you have to have a credit card through Best Buy in order to get points. I hope that they figure this thing out soon.
Bought this TV for use in my family room in our downstairs area. Have not been disappointed. Since it's located in a darker room, the picture is exceptionally good. I have noticed at night some reflection from room lighting on the screen, which is at times distracting. Wish there was more guidance during set up as the many, many settings can be confusing since I don’t have a clue what most of them do. Don’t ask the folks at BestBuy because they don’t know either. I had consideres the Samsung TV, wich I was more familiar, but it was not available anywhere. Still, very satisfied with this TV.
First, I'll say READ the other reviews and be prepared!!!! I'd never, ever, buy this brand from anyone other than Best Buy, because I knew they would eventually make this right! I already had Geek Squad coverage, thankfully, which helped. This was a much desired Christmas present for my teen son. After reading so much here about the HORRIBLE lack of quality control for this IBuyPower brand, and knowing this happened to be the only one currently in stock when I bought it on Cyber Monday, I went in eyes wide open. I was hoping for the best, as the system itself does indeed kick butt once you can actually get one that has been properly assembled.I purposely made a Geek Squad appointment for the day I intended to pick up my purchase. I wanted them to open it, and check it, for all the issues others here had reported. First thing upon picking it up, I noticed that it had already been opened previously and retaped. (Here's where I'll jump on my 'shame on you Best Buy' soapbox. As it turned out this one was likely a return, and for a good reason. It never should have been made available for someone else to buy, in my opinion.) So the young man helped me double check everything inside the tower. He did indeed find a common complaint from other reviews--a fan was not connected to the motherboard. He sadly only 'eyeballed' the motherboard placement, rather than attempting to plug anything into it. A big mistake in hindsight. On Christmas morning I discovered that, like many others had stated in their reviews, our cables would not plug in because the motherboard was misaligned. The whole reason for the pre Christmas visit to Geek Squad was to assure that this was plug in ready on the big day, but sadly it was not. Needless to say, I had a very disappointed young man on my hands. So I immediately booked online a Geek Squad appointment for 12/26/2019. The website said there were "a few" in stock at that time, so I had hoped to just exchange it. My 20 minute appointment ended up being 1:40 minutes long, because they went to unbox another brand new unit and it too had the exact same issue! There was only one more available in store, so they got it out and thankfully it was fine. It's been up and running 3 weeks now, and my son loves it. Our only issue now it that it simply refuses to run a certain Xbox game that he loves. It worked for one day, but thereafter was super glitchy and after hours on the phone with microsoft it remains unresolved. In fact, it wont even load onto the system now (after being having been uninstalled and reinstalled several times prior). So 'Sea of Thieves' he has to play on his XBox still. He loves the graphics card and processor speed, which were head and shoulders above the ancient PC he had been using. It's a good system for those not able to afford a custom built one, and the Cyber Monday $300 discount was great! Just please be aware of the numerous complaints: Fans not being plugged in, misaligned mother boards, incorrect and lesser quality graphic cards or processors installed like a GTX vs RTX card or a slower processor. Educate yourself in advance to know what you'll need to troubleshoot for when you opt to buy this particular brand.
The card was redeemable within the first hour of purchase on the same day of said purchase. My only immediate concern...would be using the card information to track the point of origin in the card's use.Other than that...there is the 'helpful availability' for Those Whom find it difficult to acquire These-or any gift cards-within Their immediate Area of availability.Or to acquire the means to get one These gift cards by any other way that is not costly.Such as 'Those Places' that take advantage of 'Supply and Demand' and be the only immediate area supplying hard copy (similar to lotto scratchers) gift cards and might charge a $5 fee on top of tax for purchase of $25 or higher gift cards. $25 gift cards being the smallest quantity for game console gift ... MoreThe card was redeemable within the first hour of purchase on the same day of said purchase. $25 gift cards being the smallest quantity for game console gift cards...making that a 20% store deductable on top of state tax...where other gift cards-not game console gift cards-might be as low as $10-$15 and higher.I can not honestly say that i would reccomend this, because 'Individual Circumstances Will Vary.'Each person might have a means of acquiring These game console gift cards that is more appropriate for Them as an individual...so this option might not be preferred for someone whom has better options or personal reasons to avoid having Their personal identyfiable information tracked...and possibly sold to inevitably be harassed in one way or another. Not that i am saying that is the end result of buying Game Console gift cards from best buy.
after ordering and receiving this item I decided to do a little digging on what this digital download took so long to get into my email address and i found this thread (To long didnt read at bottom) “ Ok, so here is how buying a "digital download" card works. #1: You place your order like any other product. #2: The warehouse gets the order code. #3: A employee gets a physical card from the inventory. #4: The card is placed into a order box with your transaction number on it. #5: Another employee gets the box. (Not necessarily the same day) #6: They scan and activate the card. #7: They proceed to scratch the code area off the back of the card, just like you would have if you bought it in-store. #8: They then input that code into the computer and send it to the email ... Moreafter ordering and receiving this item I decided to do a little digging on what this digital download took so long to get into my email address and i found this thread (To long didnt read at bottom) “ Ok, so here is how buying a "digital download" card works. #1: You place your order like any other product. #2: The warehouse gets the order code. #3: A employee gets a physical card from the inventory. #4: The card is placed into a order box with your transaction number on it. #5: Another employee gets the box. Seriously, spend the extra on gas and just go buy a card physically” TLDR the code has to be manually typed in from a warehouse that is open only during business days so if you’re looking to get this card as fast maybe get a physical copy
Bought these cards for my son. When he got home, he immediately put it on his Xbox account and he preordered WWE 2K22. He needed a few cents for tax so I gave him my credit card to put on there. He had the money on his Xbox account and no purchases were made with it so two days ago my credit card was charged 60.02 for the WWE game. When I contacted support they told me no gift card was put on his account and that is why my card was charged. Naturally we threw the gift cards away because the money was on his account and we thought everything was ok. Support wouldn’t do anything and I saw on Google that a lot of people are having issues with gift card money suddenly disappearing. Don’t just let it sit randomly on our account. I ended up paying 120 for the standard version of the game and had i wanted to spend that much I could have gotten him the 119.00 dollar version. Don’t trust gift cards!!
