Hard to believe, but the original XBox one released at the end of 2013. A month before it's release AMD brought out their 290x line of PC graphics cards.In terms of memory bandwidth and GPU speed the new XBox One X is comparable to said 290x card. It's also pretty much the same price as when the 290x launched, so that's pretty awesomeMicrosoft touted Dolby Atmos support on the console at E3, something I'm most excited about having already experienced the technology on Blizzard's game Overwatch.

I changed from a PlayStation 4 Pro to the Xbox One X Project Scorpio and I can definitely say it was the best decision I ever made. After doing some research I decided on the Xbox One X Protect Scorpio because of its tech specs. It comes with 12GB of RAM GDDR5 and a more advanced chipset the true 4K UHD @ 60Hz gaming looks fantastic on a compatible 4K HDR TV or monitor. Console gamers can now experience top tier visuals normally reserved for high-end PC's. I game on a 4K HDR 730ex and a 1080p AOC 144hz monitor. The sheer image quality and performance in 4K HDR is Phenomenal but I was blown away with how sharp and lush it looked on the monitor thanks to built in supersampling. There's a lot of technology in the box, even games that havn't been 1X enhanced automatically look, run and load better which is insane for a game console.Draw backs.. Not many 1TB HDD could be bigger but 3.0 external HDD support is good. It's small, quiet, loads fast, backwards compatible, 4K BluRay, Dolby Atmos and has a great games library.

For $330, in April 2021, 12GBs of GDDR5, a terabyte of flash, 8 CPUs, lots of graphics, it loaded 4GBs of updates, I use it as a power streamer. Runs Disney Plus, the church app, like a dream, exquisite picture detail, my Microsoft remote works well with it, at 6 trillion calculations per second, half as powerful, as my Mac mini M1, that cost $1,100 purchased in February 2021. Its not just the processor, its the fast and large amount, of short term and long term memory, that bandwidth pipelines the processing and graphics. Its also got the ability, to play 4K Blue Ray DVDs.
Beautiful Hardware. Console is well built, very very quiet and runs everything incredibly fast. Games look stunning at 4K and with HDR and also looks and runs beautifully at 1080p. To top it off the the console includes a 4K Blu ray player.Highly recommend this console for anyone with a 4K TV or someone who wants faster load times and higher frame rates for their 1080p TV.
This is going to be awesome sauce, most powerful console ever with the best versions of every game. I see the salty Sony defence force is out giving the 1 stars already lol. Jealously will get you nowhere haha.
This console definitely looks like a beast. Specs are just incredible and every game they showcased looked absolutely beautiful. The fact that the Xbox one x is compatible with every accessory and game that you have on Xbox one is a massive relief. With the reveal of the new Xbox Original backwards compatibility, this console is definitely getting a buy from me. It's finally time to invest in a 4k monitor people!
The xbox one came with no controller and no HDMI cable. (Thanks) The repairs to the HDMI output are $159.00 through EB games. Overall not satisfied.
Upgraded from Day 1 Original Xbox one to this and all i can say is wow playing Assassins Creed Origins in 4K with HDR is incredible. I also have noticed it loads games and apps alot faster. Its well made whisper quiet and a way better size than the original. Im not sure 1080p Xbox one S owners could benefit enough to warrant the price. but for myself who recently bought a 4K TV its has been the best purchase ever finally getting to see what my TV can output. Good service from Mighty Ape as per usual.
