Great minor refresh

The added hard drive space is much needed now that games are getting bigger and bigger. Absolutely silent under load. Quick resume is a game changer if you've never experienced this on Xbox. Plus, consider getting Game Pass for access to day one releases and a great catalog of games!Apparently, this Galaxy edition has a physically smaller processing chip (same performance and specs as the original Series X), improved cooling solutions, and a new more optimal board design. The finish on the console and controller are pretty cool too (I love the green!).If you already have a Series X, I'm not sure most will need the upgrade. Unless you are a Series S owner looking to upgrade for 4k gaming.

Just got the new 2Tb series x finally upgrading from my launch Xbox one. All I have to say is DANG! This is leaps and bounds faster with much much better performance and TWICE THE STORAGE! Red dead redemption 2 loading times are probably 80% faster opposed to my old launch Xbox one, with much better resolution.I hear they upgraded the SOC in the newer series x consoles with a smaller, faster, more efficient, cooler running chip, along with a much more traditional heat sink, due the cooler chip, along with the 2Tb of storage. I’m very pleased with this system and glad I went with the 2Tb model, the controller is sleek looking too.Now if you’ve already got a series x, this probably wouldn’t make sense to buy over just adding more storage to the 1tb. Excellent! I used to be an avid gamer but took a break as I got older.Now that I have more disposable income I decided to resume my hobby and picked this console up the day it was released.The 2TB storage is great in this day and age where many top-tier games run 100GB+.I also like the Galaxy design it looks cool. The green disk it balances on is a little weird I wish it wasn't so bright green but that's a minor gripe.Also, it advertises 4k 120HZ gaming as a capability and that's definitely true but it will stutter some times during certain scenes/levels that are demanding and I have had it crash on me once already. All-in-all though its a good console!

So far so good with the new 2tb unit! I had the original series X from 2020 and the extra storage is great! The new version does have more consistent WiFi speeds and is much faster downloading than the original! If you are looking for a new Series X this new version is an excellent choice. If you have to expand your storage this one is a no brainer only $100 more for an extra 1 Tb of storage. If you purchase the expansion storage the cheapest I have see is $129 for 1 Tb. So you save some money vs purchasing an expansion and you get a different paint job. I do still wish Microsoft allowed SSD upgrades like Sony.

I just upgraded from an xbox series one x to the xbox series x galaxy 2tb and I absolutely love it. I always thought I was bad at multiplayer games but as it turns out it was just my old gen's performance capabilities. I can finally play all the new generation games with my friends without rubber banding, lagging, or slow response times. I play with a 4k tv and the graphics are excellent. I'm so happy to finally be able to play to my full ability and fine tune my own skills as opposed to overcompensating for outdated tech. If you're on the fence and have the money in your budget to, I'd recommend just doing it. I have friends with the series s that can't pull off the same feats or achieve the same smooth gameplay. The Xbox Series X - Galaxy Limited Edition is better than I expected. It is my first Xbox and it did not disappoint. I have been a PlayStation fan since the beginning and now I decided to try the Xbox brand. I would definitely recommend the Xbox Series X to every gamer. The graphics are awesome and everything runs buttery smooth. There are so many great games and a lot of them are Backwards compatible across 4 generations of Xboxes. And then the Xbox has a Remote Play feature that allows you to play your games away from home on your IPhone, IPad, or Tablet; which runs flawlessly on Android or IOS.

Don't buy a PC! I don't like Microsoft Windows with a lot of files to run with games, and the antivirus program is interrupting games. Xbox comes with a small operating system, which has fewer files than Microsoft Windows and no antivirus program. You have to fix your PC, but you don't have to fix your Xbox because Xbox is automatically updating to fix it. Xbox Series X Galaxy come with 2 TB built-in; you can also add an external storage card to make it bigger storage, which is a very nice and great idea. That means you can play plenty of games. Dead Island 2 graphics are SUPER nice on Xbox Series X Galaxy.
