It sure is a "1080p Monster" like AMD said but it really falls short on 1440p and 4K and I think it has to do with the amount of bandwidth this card can utilize. $379 MSRP for a card that performs just like the $400 RX 5700XT from 2018 but in this climate a beggar can't be a chooser. Of course the MSRP doesn't really exist anyway.

So, I was looking to upgrade my GPU as I was running a nvidia 1650 super which was perfectly adequate for games like skyrim and fallout but I wanted to run newer games and run them well. The 6600xt definitely does just that... I can run outriders with everything set to ultra and get a solid 120 fps... Looking forward to testing it out in Battlefield 2042 toward the end of the year.Excellent GPU for 1080p as that's all my monitor will support anyway, I've not tried running anything with ray tracing though but graphic performance in my games has never been better

Purchased this for a Family Member and they absolutely LOVE the performance it gives them in their PC Gaming!!! They can now run High Settings with High FPS @ (1080P & 1440P) within all their favorite games!!!AMD got it right with this one! Also XFX are pretty solid build models!!!

I watched many reviews on this particular card, but none showed how handsome it is. One of the best looking cards on the market. The build quality is top notch, and the cooling solution is really over-built for this kind of card. That's a lot of headroom for overclocking. The default fan curve is setup for minimal noise, the fans actually don't spin with light workloads like browsing, and they're reluctant to spin fast on a stress test This makes the card run a little toasty, but you absolutely have the options to prioritize thermals over noise. This kind of flexibility is welcomed. Now this card would get 5 stars if it wasnt for the coil whine. I don't know if my card is a lemon in that regard or its a particular problem with this model, but the coil whine is ... MoreI watched many reviews on this particular card, but none showed how handsome it is. I don't know if my card is a lemon in that regard or its a particular problem with this model, but the coil whine is there when the card is under load. Placing a frame time limiter solved it for me, but if you play high FPS games this might not work for you.Overall great card, looks beast, great cooling, but that whine..
-At the price I got it, Nothing is comparable in the current market, Price/-/performance wise. -If you're upgrading from a R9/300 series/500--GTX960/980/1080/1660, DO IT. this is replacing a Sapphire R9 390X TRI-X 8G, it's 1000% worth it. -Will update if required
This was an expensive upgrade for me. I went from a DDR3, FX 8300 and RX 580 8gb system to a DDR4, Ryzen 7 and RX 6600XT. I love the card but still need to figure out the correct tuning for my game library. My system was never sufficient for MMO games, but now I may be set up for a "dip in that pool".
This is a good midrange GPU for the casual gamer. If you want to run everything on ultra and expect crazy FPS, i would go with a 6700 or 6800 series card. If you don't mind running 1080p and average frame rates, this is a good card especially if using an older CPU like the intel core iX-7000 series or older.
I am using this card for the sole purpose of mining ETH. As of September, it is the most efficient card for mining, with a reported performance (32 MH/s hash rate) per watt rating of .43. After tweaking the clock and voltage settings, I have been consistently mining for weeks at 31.84 MH/s with no crashes. Power consumption is only 54W according to AMD software, so its likely around 70W at the wall. Even with ETH's upcoming change to proof of stake, I highly recommend buying this card in the $400s.I have no comment with performance in respect to gaming or other GPU heavy applications.
This GPU would be perfect if it didn't have coil whine. It's low energy but gets pretty good performance. Besides the coil whine, the fans are quiet.
Every single partner card company decided to price gouge at a moment when rules could be taken advantage of. Leaves a terrible feeling for the consumers, and fuller wallets for the heads of these companies. Would've given this 3 stars for average since all partner companies are doing this, but amd's partners are even worse than nvidia's whenit comes to pricing
