We have four cats, two of which like to scratch the sides of the litter box and one that pees against the back wall. He has not been able to destroy these liners though he gives it his all! And no pee winds up outside of the box. And changing litter is a breeze. Just lift out liners and empty old litter. Clean liner, reattach and pour in fresh litter. The litter box itself remains almost completely clean. I just wipe out the little bit of litter that gets in bottom of box and wipe entire box down with litter box wipes. No more scrubbing out bottom of box with soap and water and scraping out stuck on litter clumps! I didn’t replace my first liners (have two litter boxes) until 4 months of use and they were still in great condition! Highly recommend this system!

The litter box and liners are the best investment we’ve ever made for our male cats that urinate high because they do it by standing up. No more pee pads under our litter boxes or messy dripping lids. If anyone has trouble with the clips staying in place, try using plumbers tape. Wrap the tape around the clip then slide into place.

After a defective pack of liners, these were sent as a replacement. I appreciate a company that stands behind their products with great customer service. I've only been using the litter box and liners for a few months, but so far I really like the system. The liners are easy to clean, so I interchange between two. I clean one and leave it to dry while I use the other. I'm hoping they last a long time.

I love the extra large litter box we ordered. Originally, I used the top opening for our kitties. Recently changed to the front entry and ordered liners for front entry due to getting a new kitten. It's easier for her to use the front entry due to her small size and our other kitties don't seem to mind the change up. It's great to have the options with the litter box! Both the box and liners are well made, sturdy and easy to use. Also added the charcoal granules in the litter and those little charcoal grains work! I also use the cleaning spray from ModKat which works great to wipe down the box and no odder which is nice for the kitties. Great product!
These are just amazing. We have multiple boxes with several cats. The liners can stand up to scratching like I have never seen. At first, I thought these were a little pricey, but after using for several months, I no longer feel that way. It makes litter box cleaning easier, has reduced odor, and all have lasted longer than the mentioned 4 months. Please try these out. You will not be disappointed.
I am not sure how I found ModCat, though I am a researcher and most likely was looking up litter box options for my rather large and beautiful Maine Coon cat. While the ModCat liners will not last forever, my first set of three lasted for about three years of very intense use from a 13 lb. Maine Coon. They are easy to clean and reuse and I rotate my liners to reduce intensive ware and care. I find them to be an ideal solution, especially for big cats that need a large and high litterbox liner.
These liners definitely make cleaning and changing the litter box easier and the fact that they are reusable is a bonus. I wish, however, they were made of a material, or there was an alternate product that fits the litter box, that would be more suitable for non-clumping litter. I use silica-based litter because it seems to work best for my cats after having gone through many types. While these liners work for the most part if one of my cats digs down and urinates on too thin a layer of litter the liner absorbs and leaks into the pan a bit which reduces the life of the liner. I’d happily pay more for a 2 pack of a silicone based liner that would last longer and clean better.
We have lots of cats....indoor, outdoor and garage kitties. I do feral TNR. Daily cleaning of litter boxes is a deal but Modkat really impressed us! Great design, easy cleaning and almost no litter tracking when used along with the additional mat you can purchase. Hardly any litter gets to the floor around the litter box. We always have one litter box per cat so it was interesting to watch the house kitties all use this box and choose the entry they wanted! One uses the top entry and the two others use the front entry... are much older cats, 15 and 16 years and one is blind now but they definitely both like the new litter situation! :) Thanks Modkat for the sleek design and the much easier clean up use of your product . We’ve got three of the litter trays now. I don’t know why, but it’s solved most of our “accident” issues. We had one cat peeing next to the box and another just overshooting even the highest sides. With the splash guard, this setup is higher than even the tallest litter box. And I think they’re less afraid of getting cornered, since they can see through it. Regardless, it’s working. A couple things, though. First, it’s not all that easy to set up. Second, the urine can get trapped between the liner and the splash guard, making it smellier and harder to clean up. Third, we find it awkward to clean up the liner and splash guard. It’s much easier to clean a regular litter box - but as I said, we haven’t found anything taller and we do like the fact that the cats can ... MoreWe’ve got three of the litter trays now. Excellent product and service. I wish Modkat and its accessories are available in more countries or for international shipping.I bought my modkat litter boxes in Hong Kong and everything was easily available in “Whiskers and Paws”. After I moved to Singapore, I made the big mistake of replacing my type D front entry liner to type C top entry liner. My cats refused to use the top entry and started protesting by urinating everywhere but the litter boxes. I had a hard time getting a replacement liner locally. In the end I had to get courier to purchase and ship the liner to me.I digress but I will only be using Modkat products from now on. They are simply the best!
