This lock would not fit the slot in the steel security door I have. The thickness of the body misses by about 1mm. I had to become a return as I am reluctant to file the door on the of chance it might fit.

Bought this to replace a Whitco Tasman lock and was told this was the correct one by bunnings staff. Pin for the triple lock does not fit at all. Falsely advertised...beware!

Great replacement for the cheap lock that was used on my security screen door and broke after a number of years.Would be good if bunnings stocked related products such as the 3 point loking kit and same branded sliding door lock rather than having to special order.

Bought two for a client with the same key code (one for front, one for back). Guess what - they aren't keyed alike! The keys are the same general shape, but just enough difference they won't work in the other lock. Otherwise, no issues - used several of them and they are fine.
A good quality handle and lock. Easy to replace existing handles and lock. Only a pair of replacement keys provided. Very limited colour range.
After returning home after Christmas, we found someone had tired to enter our home...the door is damaged and bent but the lock has with standard the force they had used to try to get in....The handle has go marks on it and is a little loose in the socket, but still works on both sides as it should.I will be replacing the lock due to the handle being damaged, but I feel its proven itself.
After needing to replace our old rickety and flimsy lock and having a look at this online and making the purchase to click and collect at the store was really surprised at how complete and solidly made this was. The whole click and collect process made things so easy for us.
i had to modify the screen door with a grinder to fit the body in then it all went well.
Good quality security door lock, it can be used for left/right hand door but didn’t specify on the package
Purchased to replace lock in my 1988 old security screen door which stopped working after lots of rain, was able to follow included instructions to remove old lock and install new one, problem was when I finished the key would not turn. Had to get a locksmith out to fix it he had to remove my triple lock extra locks as this lock is not compatable with triple lock screens so I found out. Overall it is much stronger than old lock and handle and feels much more secure now
