As A first time manual grinder user, the grinder seems well made, and has classic looks with the wood construction. A bit harder to turn the crank than I was expecting, but my guess is that they’re all like that. Nice finish, good looks, acceptable performance.
Because it’s round shaped, it’s hard to hold it stable while grinding.
It might have helped to have instructions included that outline how to alter the grind. But that’s being picky!
For the price ok. Probably should stick to grinds more coarse than espresso with this grinder. It's a lot of work, had no manual or instructions at time of purchase. Burrs have a clear coating that that WholeLatteLove could not identify. The coating seems hard and durable, could not be scrubbed off. I think I'll will use it exclusively for camping or when away from power.
Came faster than I thought and seems to be made out of high quality stuff. Makes my morning coffee way more mindful switching to manual grinder
It looks beautiful. I haven't used it yet because it did not come with instructions on how to change the fineness of the grind. Do you have any clues?
