Amazing Sound Quality and enough power to give out a Base with a punch for movies and music. Yamaha could have improved the mobile app as it is the portal to all the features available on the device. Sometimes the app and soundbar does not communicate properly resulting the audio to cut in and out or delay instructions sent to it. I've noticed this specially when controlling Spotify. When this happens you need to power cycle the device and it starts working.Other than the App issue, This is still a great sound bar!

Love it! The shipping was fast and the item was well protected! Sound quality is fantastic! The Subwoofer bumps, so many sound settings to play with! Really enhances music on YouTube and it makes live concerts online feel like youre front row and same with sporting events!!

Big improvement over the tv speakers. Wireless subwoofer makes for flexible positioning. Drawback not having a display visible from the front of the unit. Good value for a basic sound bar but don't expect the performance of a much more expensive unit.

Unlike the sound bar that this one replaced this one has great sound and some good features. The biggest problem I had was setting it up. You have to understand the different between HDMI ARC and TV optical sound. I also continue to have trouble with WiFi. The user guide isn't very friendly and I had to try a few combinations to get sound working using the phone app. The app is great for controlling the sound bar but difficult to get going. I had to use a wired network connection to get the app to work and configure the sound bar's WiFi. Every so often WiFi stops working so I have to wire it up again.If you just use the supplied optical cable with the TOSLINK connections you'll have no trouble and get excellent sound from your TV.

The speakers have connected well to the TV and its great that I can control the volume of the speakers with our TV remote (we have a new LG smart TV with arc HDMI). The bass is pretty good and with the 3D surround on it definitely makes what you watch more immersive. Bass is great, sound is clear to watch movies, tv show or if you listening podcast. Bass is heavy enough for music. Perfect sound bar for the price but it does have an issue sometimes it does disconnects bass by itself and you can be puzzled into diffrent modes as it doesn't have display.
Typical Yamaha excellent quality & sound. Great entry level system for the price. Cant fault it other than some of the features like ALEXA & app controller require connection to a WiFi network which isnt clearly described. Aside from that, brilliant.
Like it for reasons I did not buy it for. Wanted for an upgrade in sound for watching movies. Got that. But it also makes make watching sports better because the dialog of the announcers is more distinct from the background noise. Install easy. Operating instructions a bit cryptic.
Nice and loud bass for a small living room. Before buying I was worried because of its small watt, only 200W total. I had listened to Samsung 350W and sound wasn't loud enough. But, this 200W Yamaha sounds much louder and better. Only negative, it doesn't have sound level indicator.
This item works quite well but not as good as I expected it to be. When I bought it I was told that I could use a standard HDMI cable. The sound I got was too muddy. I did some re4search and discovered that I needed to use a HDMI cable that is 'super fast and includes ethernet'. I bought one and the sound is better.
