This keyboard has some nice features but very limited on sounds and the ability to modify them. It only allows 3 layers and if you want to do something like a bass sound that slaps when hit harder, you have to use 2 layers and there is no way to have the velocity stop the one sound by hitting harder etc. Also there is no aftertouch.

This keyboard has some nice features but very limited on sounds and the ability to modify them. It only allows 3 layers and if you want to do something like a bass sound that slaps when hit harder, you have to use 2 layers and there is no way to have the velocity stop the one sound by hitting harder etc. Also there is no aftertouch.
Great keyboard, so versatile and built for the stage.Killer effects that you can put on the input for mic, guitars etc.The average rating is for the lack of power adapter when the manual clearly says it is supposed to come with one 🤷🏾‍♂️
I have only had this keyboard for a very short time, with very little opportunity so far to explore it in detail, so these are only my initial impressions. One YouTube review (by “Piano Tone”) pointed out that the “full size” octave width on a typical 88 key digital piano is about 164-165 mm, whereas it is only 159-160 mm on many synth action keyboards, including the CK61. When I switched back and forth between a Yamaha CP88 and the CK61, it was noticeably more difficult to play easily and freely on the CK61. I may get used to the smaller keyboard in time, but, at the moment, I am wondering if I will need to attach a full size MIDI keyboard to the CK61 and play it that way, in order to not feel restricted by the noticeable difference in octave width. That is the only reason why I did not give the CK61 a higher rating. Apart from that, it looks and sounds every bit as good as what we see on most YouTube reviews.
Does everything brilliantly. A few more acoustic piano voices would be nice, but the ones there cover everything you'd need. EPs are organs sound lovely. Don't use synth sounds much but there are a lot and all sound deep and lush.Keybed is excellent (61 key) - good for dynamic playing, even though it's not weighted. Feels like the same quality as the reface keys, but full size. Pleasant to play.Has the same and more functions that my Nord Electro - some seriously useful tools and the layout is just as easy as the Nord to use - easier in some respects.Build quality feels good - solid, but light.Speakers are astounding - did not expect that level of quality from built-in speakers - really great.For the price, you are getting an insanely good deal here.

Includes all my essential instrument sounds with deep and wide ranging intuitive on-the-fly tweaking at my fingertips. Inspiration Machine like no other synth I have owned. The only thing that is missing is arpeggiation and maybe a simple sequencer. Very good value for the money. Would be my first purchase if I was starting a Keyboard collection.
