Good quality hihat stand, but without rotation control. Not efficient for e-drum hihat, but a very good choice for natural cymbal. I tried it with a Yamaha RHH-135 and its also a little hard to keep the hihat closed (needs hard pushing), but I believe it has to do with cymbal and not with the stand.

Great lightweight hi hat stand with very few bells and whistles. a simple design that is durable, smooth and reliable. I have a couple of the 740 stands and love them- this one is a bit lighter, no memory lock on the height adjustment (would it have killed Yamaha to include one?) but all in all- a nice action and feel.

Good quality hihat stand, but without rotation control. Not efficient for e-drum hihat, but a very good choice for natural cymbal.
