This stand is VERY sturdy and holds the Yamaha L85 perfectly. It gives ut a sleek look and my son loves it. My son has ADHD which limits him on what activities he wants to/can participate in. He showed interest in playing the piano, we had his first lesson and he loved it. This keyboard and stand was reccomended by his piano teacher and it is PERFECT.With my son we needed something that looked and felt the same as the baby grand piano he practices on so he doesn't get confused. This does the trick and is a fraction of the price of a baby grand. I would love to invest in one someday but, for now this is perfect!

So, I've owned my Yamaha P85 for about 6 years now, and I can tell you that it hasn't given up on me at all. Since day 1, I've been dedicated to learning the instrument and have been practicing on it everyday for the past 6 years. When purchasing this product, I was also looking into a Casio digital piano that was around the same price range. I decided to go with Yamaha, even though it had less presets (internal sounds) than the Casio that had hundreds of sounds. I knew I made the right choice once I brought it home. I believe that both the Yamaha and Casio were the same price. Which was $599. Being that I was new to the music world, I didn't want to spend so much money on a piano only because I wasn't sure if it'll be something I would want to do my entire life, ... MoreSo, I've owned my Yamaha P85 for about 6 years now, and I can tell you that it hasn't given up on me at all. Being that I was new to the music world, I didn't want to spend so much money on a piano only because I wasn't sure if it'll be something I would want to do my entire life, but bringing it home changed my entire perspective on Yamaha products. I believe that the touch and feel of this piano is actually better than that of the huge grand pianos out there. I say that, only because for the past 5 years since I've purchased my piano, I've been taking lessons at a piano store. They have pianos that cost about $100,000.00. Yea, insane, but oddly, they let me play on the expensive piano, and to tell you the truth, the feel wasn't all that great and the sound wasn't nice at all either. Maybe it wasbecause I was use to the sound of my Yamaha. I'm not sure. So that's that. Now for the midi on this piano. I think it is awesome! I've been creating music for about a year now and have been using this piano with my Scarlett 2i4 audio interface and Logic Pro 9 DAW. Let me tell you, it's been doing exactly what it is suppose to do. I can say that this piano sounds AMAZING when you use it with virtual instruments. I guarantee you that anyone might think that you're playing off of a million dollar piano. The piano and sounds make you want to create music. It honestly leaves me speechless. So, overall, quality, feel, performance and price, I think that this is the best digital piano out there. It is the most realistic that you will find for the price. Try comparing this to pianos that are at the same price range. The feel of the keys will not be the same. Even the stock sounds will not sound great. I can honestly go on for days of how much I love this piano, but I need to keep this short. All in all, Yamaha has a lifetime buyer.

Best experience ever. Fast delivery. Put it together in minutes. Sturdy. Nice, simple, furniture-like addition to my room (replaced my old X type stand). If I had to find something to complain about, it would be the lack of wire management options such as little hooks or tray in the back. Easily solvable by using self adhesive rubber wire holders though.Very satisfied.

This stand makes such a difference to my digital piano! I first ordered the x stand, and then bought this instead. It feels like I'm sitting at a real piano and looks beautiful in my home. It's very sturdy and keeps the piano secure in its place. The height is perfect too. It was worth every penny!
I purchased this item along with the LP5 pedal board as a replacement for the piano stand we lost when our house flooded during Hurricane Harvey a little over a year ago. The pedal board was the only one I found that had the same connector as the one we lost. I had previously purchased the Suzuki HDP digital piano as a gift for my wife. The stand is not a perfect fit for the piano, although it only took some minor modifications to make it work.Im very happy (so is my wife) with the results.
We had the keyboard on an X stand before this which was to flimsy and kept the keyboard abnormally high. This L-85 stand is solid and fits the keyboard perfectly- keeping it at the average height of a real set of piano keys. It was very easy to assemble. It does reduce the portability of the keyboard a little since the keyboard bolts to this stand. But it is so solid this way it really feels like a real piano vs a keyboard setup.
We bought this shortly after purchasing a P-45 digital piano as the stand we had turned out to not be up to the job. It is easy to assemble and a perfect fit for the keyboard and the whole assemblage looks smart together, but we thought it was a bit expensive for a melamine coated chipboard stand. We guess the reason is that they don't get produced in the same sort of quantities as similarly constructed Ikea shelving units so they're going to be dearer.Having said that it is stable and secure and fulfils its function perfectly.
The look and feel from this P45 keyboard is fantastic. We’ve jumped from a low range keyboard to this and the difference is amazing. I bought this for my kids for encouragement with piano grading and would recommend this for anyone. To hear them practice is amazing.
Although it feels a bit galling to pay this much for what is essentially three pieces of wood, it is VERY sturdy and high quality. Brackets are strong as heck. It takes up about half the footprint of my previous X stand, and looks much more grown up. Jobs a good ‘un.
Well, the yamaha experts designed it, but in my opinion the height is not enough. The one who is playing the piano is my child but I don't see him comfortable although he is sitting in an expensive piano bench.I could be wrong but it is what I feel and see.The product arrived in perfect condition, a fast delivery. Happy with the customer service.Gisela
