Beautiful guitar. Out of the box it was a bit lacking. However, after I spent some time setting up the term, adjusting the nut, polishing the frets, I am really happy with the guitar. I can't seem to put it down. It is a delight to play.

I bought this then decided to float the tremolo but after a few days pretty much put everything back to how it came out of the box. I did some minor changes to pickup heights to suit me. This guitar really sounds and plays nice. I’m blown away particularly when considering the price.I highly recommend the Yamaha Pacifica 612 range. The Fire Red really makes it look good.

Beautiful Guitar

Absolutely love the guitar. Color is a lot more subtle in person than in pictures online. Plays smooth right out the box, looks and feels amazing. Neck is quite similar to a strat but gets flatter near the neck. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is because when I unboxed it and inspected it there was a scuff on the headstock. It isn't noticeable from a distance but definitely something I'm not happy about. Other than that it plays great, looks great, feels great :)

Great Value

Guitar sounds great, has nice features (Seymour Duncan's, locking tuners, graphite nut, Wilkinson tromolo) and doesn't break the bank. Overall quality is excellent. Guitar is a little heavier (weight) than I expected but is ok.

Incredible guitar for the price

I love everything about it except - gotta take a star off for some setup issues that should have been sorted before shipping. Plus the guitar arrived not in its original box but a Jackson box, which was odd.

Pacifica 612 v11x

Top of range, quality hardware as standard very well made. No case or gigbag and set up was a joke, took guitar back to store for set up,came back still the same set up, no difference at all, very very dissapointing. I will be spending my money elsewhere

So easy to play and sounds great. Only negative is that the colour could be lighter so the grain shows through more. But this is purely cosmeticI’ve got a Les Paul, 50th anniversary Strat, Dangelico guitars and the Pacifica is my favourite.

Early days - on its way to 5 stars once I’ve played it in. Neck feels great - nice slim profile and the back is smooth and not sticky. The rosewood fretboard feels great. Controls are positive and feel solid. Pickups go together really well and the coil split is terrific - in split mode the humbucker sounds like a full-blooded single coil. I’d say in HB mode the humbucker is better in high gain settings than clean tones but it’s not actually bad. The locking tuners are excellent. The Wilkinson bridge inspires confidence and the tremolo is a good compromise between vintage and modern options ie it only goes up (I mean you can only lower the pitch!) but feels very stable.
