The guitar itself is ok (hence 3 rather than 2 stars), but note that the \"bundle\" literally means one guitar and one mini amp: that's it -- no cable to enable usage, and no guitar case either (and obviously no batteries for the amp). Sort of like buying a phone and not receiving its charger or cable with it. Having been used to ordering and receiving guitars nicely packed in their own case and with their relevant accessories, this was a regrettable purchase, especially at this price point.

i was looking at so many options to start out but after some consideration i decided to choose the pacifica 112v. i did not regret it. such a beautiful looking guitar and sounds amazing. it was high quality and feels like a guitar should feel. Do not hesitate to buy it. comes with two free lessons and you can book the date and teacher that you’re comfortable with. everything’s great

Awesome guitar for beginner/intermediate.Build quality is out of this world. Feels really sturdy, but well balanced and comfortable. Good quality strings and bridge, tensioners etc. and high quality finish.Pickups and selection / adjustment are excellent giving lots of scope for varying the sound scape. Wonderful, warm sounding guitar.

This is an excellent guitar. The setup was playable from the factory. With some minor adjustments from an amazing guitar center employee, Tony, the action and tone was superb. With the splittable humbucker at the bridge, plus the 2 single coils, the guitar is extremely versatile. I was able to produce a variety of tones. This guitar will play anything I am able to throw at it.The alder body is stunning. I am normally not a fan of natural finish but the figuring in the wood looks great. It is made of three well matched pieces of wood with a nice satin finish. The neck has a nice feel and I appreciate the larger fretboard radius.
I own a Gibson SG and was looking to get a strat styled guitar for the 25.5" scale length. My guitar instructor told me about the Pacifica line and said if I can get the opportunity, try one out or buy one used, stating the necks are the best out there in terms of a production line guitar.I saw one used with a hardshell case and went for it as the price was just too good to be beat. Let me tell you, the neck is the best playing, smoothest, most comfortable neck you will ever play (excluding a custom built neck of course). It has a .822-.90 neck taper with a 13.75" fretboard radius. Some people may not like the flatness of the fretboard but the around 14" radius is very comfy for a variety of styles. Some people may not like the flatness of the fretboard but the around 14" radius is very comfy for a variety of styles. The neck taper isn't the skinniest, nor the fattest, it sits just right. You can comfortably shred, play chords, blues rock out, you name it.The tuners hold in tune so well, I can go weeks without it even go slightly out of tune. I believe they are Gotoh brand without the name as they look and feel identical to my Gotoh non-locking tuners. The bridge is your standard tremolo with vintage saddles. I hated the look and feel of vintage saddles the first month I owned it. Now, I can never go back to a stopbar, tune o matic, or even modern string saddles. The vintage will dig into your palm a bit but after a few weeks you will be used to it and won't even feel or notice discomfort. The body is nicely contoured. It is less rounded then that of a Fender strat, and less squared off then that of an Ibanez. It sits nicely in between both. The body bells out a little more then a strat as well and just looks really nice. Now the drawback is definitely the pickups. Where Yamaha took time with the neck and beautiful contours of the body, and great hardware, it put it your most basic HSS pickups. They don't sound that great at all so you definitely would need an upgrade at some point. My SG has not been played in 6+ months. This guitar is worth the buy.
After buying the same guitar elsewhere, with horrible quality control, issues and no decent setup, I took the gamble and ordered one here. Teriffic guitar with no flaws. It seems Music Store took the time to properly set up the instrument. The pickups are on the bright side, but can be solved by lowering treble in output settings on a multi FX pedal. The humbucker sounds crispy and fat and with coil split the single coil sings and screams without too much noise. The 13,75 radius is a dream to play. Very fast. The only thing I needed (with all starts in my case) is put a replacement saddle spring very short one) on the low E string to get the 0.42 string intimate property. The fretboard is dark and advertised as rosewood. I have to clean my black fingers after every playing session. I believe that disappears after time. The basic tuners are good when stringing with locking method. The nut is cut extremely well. This is an excellent instrument for home use, beginners and intermediate players on a budget.I recommend!
I'm not very experienced . 1st electric for me.i am happy with it.I use a mini amp to head phone, it sticks out of plug in and can be a little vulnerable. I'll put a right angled jack plug lead in and adapter jack for amp for when I'm lounging about on sofa. On stage I'll be fine 🤪Review based on a few weeks use so not knowing much about guitars I can't say how good it sounds compared to others. And obviously durability I can only assume from how it feels now.
Despite the 4 points below, I am very happy with the guitar, and love the variety of sounds, even without going into humbucker mode on the bridge pickup. The standard of construction is very high, but I have 4 minor criticisms in the area of production control.I like the guitar so much, I feel mean pointing out faults: possibly these faults are what you need to expect at what is really a bargain price.I was able to deal with a couple of the faults straight away, and my local luthier sorted out the remaining issues. The faults were:1)The nut which secures the tone control had not been tightened at all, so when I first tried the coil tap the pot sunk back into the body.2)The nut slots could have been cut very slightly deeper to improve playability.3)The fret ends ... MoreDespite the 4 points below, I am very happy with the guitar, and love the variety of sounds, even without going into humbucker mode on the bridge pickup. The faults were:1)The nut which secures the tone control had not been tightened at all, so when I first tried the coil tap the pot sunk back into the body.2)The nut slots could have been cut very slightly deeper to improve playability.3)The fret ends were left uncomfortably sharp.4)The frets were quite rough along their tops, so even modest string bends were a no-no.
I was looking for a beginners guitar and after plenty of research settled on the Yamaha. Appears very well made and was was playable straight from the box. As stated I am a beginner so no expert but neck is nice and slim which makes for easy fretting and plenty of different sounds/ tones available from the 3 pick ups. Very happy with purchase and excellent device from pmt
