Items are delivered safely. seller quickly packed with multi layers of bubble wraps and sent to logistics. skynet held the items for 9 days due to raya holidays. Colour is so nice, wine color in low light situation and metallic red in bright place.I like the overall build up, feels solid.Just that the guitar cable sounds muddy & low quality. I have to consider to buy a better one.

I got a Pacifica 012DLX violin sunburst as my first guitar a while back and man. This guitar is perfect as is for beginners, straight out of the box the playability was on point. The action was perfect, just low enough to play like a dream and high enough to not have fret buzz. The neck was straight and didn't need any adjustment of the truss rod, and the intonation didn't need much work at all. The neck is pretty nice, the frets aren't that sharp if they're sharp at all, they're not scratchy on the strings like I've seen with some squiers and epiphones, it's really great for practicing and encouraging beginners to learn to play. It stays in tune just fine and the tuners feel super smooth and I haven't had any issues with them breaking strings or anything. Both the single coils and humbucker sound a little thin and not as bright/warm as you'd want. That doesn't really matter if you aren't recording or playing live though, so for practice or beginners this guitar is a great choice and with a pickup replacement, this guitar could be perfect for just about anyone.

I have bought several guitars in the 100 to 300 range. I was surprised on the quality of this guitar and felt it was superior to many other brands in this range. From neck joint to fret polish & leveling and finish this guitar is quality except the tuners, however the guitar stays in tune and rarely goes out. The neck is not a Fender Strat or Tele neck so don't expect it to play like one, Its its own thing. It is not wide at the nut so if you need a wide neck at the nut it may not be for you. I find it fine and would not consider it narrow. The neck is slightly fatter than a Squire neck but it is still a C shape and a bit thicker as you go up the neck to higher frets. It plays great. Its set up well for Rock and Blues playing, neck adjusted with a light bow and strings set low (but not to low to buzz). Bridge saddles are stainless steel and this make the strings ring out bright and loud even when not plugged in. Intonation was spot on. Frets are tall enough to allow for string bending (there not super low). As regards pickups this is a personal thing. Pickups are very basic and do okay, one may want to upgrade them to ones own liking other wise there fine.
Pacificas are all around work horse guitars. These make great beginner guitars as they offer a lot of quality and very good playbility/dexterity of the neck for the price. The only electric guitars I like better are Terry Mcinturffs (I've got a TM Polaris-love that guitar), PRS Custom 24, and the higher end ESP, G&L, Fender, Gibson or Ibanez stuff. My point is you WILL NOT find a better electric guitar than the Pacifica for $300 or less. These things are very smooth playing and decent sounding for all types of music. No they are NOT the best but they are EXTREMELY good for the price and give you a lot of function and playbility for a small amount of money. I think many beginners quit guitar because they have (often a gift) junky starter guitars with TERRIBLE actions and necks on them that play just awful. If you take nothing else from this review just know that this will not be a problem for you as a beginner with a Pacifica- you're not going to quit too early (before having a chance to build some skill) because your guitar plays poorly. I could barely fret a note when I started now I play Queensryche solos. Looking at the Pacifica-you can't find a better/faster playing neck in all the dozens of guitars Ive tried over the years unless you're spending $7-800+. Below that price point these things are great. My guitar instructor has all kinds of gear and guitars in his collection and chooses to teach with the Pacificas as they have great necks and actions for the money and he's not concerned if it gets lost/stolen from his studio or otherwise damaged in some way. If you go jam with some people you don't know or leave it in a car or backstage at some venue you won't cry as much if it gets lost/damaged/stolen. For near beginners (if you've played seriously a few months & know you will stick with the guitar), I highly reccomend letting a professional set up the guitar for you (adjust the neck, action, lube it, etc.)- this is a very good thing to do for any guitar you own.
Bought for my husband, as a surprise, as he hasnāt had an electric guitar for a couple of years now. Got lots of advice from other musical people and settled on this one due to the colour, shape and recommendations (in that order).Heās delighted with the look of the guitar, but better than that, he loves the sound, says itās much better than any guitar heās owned before. Perfect for playing Blur, The Jam, The Skids and The Walker Brothers. Itās lovely to hear him playing again āŗļøSales and delivery were very straightforward. Thanks very muchCanāt comment on durability because heās only had it for a week!
Customer Review: Color: Old Violin SunburstStyle: Guitar First let me say I am no stranger to guitars. I own over 20 different ones. I have $ versions from all the best brands. I have yet to own a Yamaha Pacifica. I have the "other" brand which includes a Tele, Strat, and a Jazzmaster. The package was packed really, really, well. No damage of any kind from the delivery process. Right out of the box I could see this is a quality product. Fit and finish is a big "WOW." It was almost perfectly in tune. I only needed to tweek each string about a half pitch to be right on. I got the "old violin" finish and it is a real looker. Tone is as good or better than most of my other guitars. Playability and sound is just what I like. I would put this in my top five favorite ...Ā MoreCustomer Review: Color: Old Violin SunburstStyle: Guitar First let me say I am no stranger to guitars. I could play this guitar with any other brand and they would like mine a lot. I am going to leave the OEM strings on as they are not bad. In a month or so I will change them out for some upgrades. The rest, I will leave everything OEM. Don't miss out on this one. It is a STEAL for the money.
I bought an older Yamaha Pacifica 012 at a swap meet, the guy had it hanging in his game room for 10 years on the wall. He was not even a guitar player. I paid $100 for it when I saw how worn the neck finish was in the back and how worn the frets were.. Worn frets all the way up the neck and a hand oil stained neck means, someone loved this guitar for years. You cant love a guitar that does not play and sound well. So I bought this very worn guitar. Took it home and took it apart went through it cleaned it, had to replace the input jack with a switch craft for under five dollars, had to clean the pots, because this guitar hung on the wall not in a case. The neck was straight, the intonation was right on, the tuners held it in tune, this guitar has a fast narrow neck. ...Ā MoreI bought an older Yamaha Pacifica 012 at a swap meet, the guy had it hanging in his game room for 10 years on the wall. I ended up putting Wilkinson pick ups at the neck and in the middle but the bridge pick up was fine. Now it is one of my favorite guitars I did some research and found that a team of accomplished musicians and guitar builders got together to design the Yamaha Pacifica guitar for Yamaha. they did a great job. I like these guitars so much, that when another Yamaha Pacifica nearby came up for sale. I bought it also has a spare. Turns out it was played less than an hour. It was a Christmas gift to a child lost interest. Its perfect. I have had many Stratocaster s, telecasters, In my opinion, the Yamaha Pacifica is as good. Yamaha is the largest musical instrument manufacturer in the world. They dont make junk..I now have four Yamaha guitars.
