I bought this guitar about 44 days ago (within the 45-day return period) and am going to return it. I really love it, but I've had a sore wrist and arm for well over a month that wasn't healing until I picked up my old guitar (another S-style) last week, and my wrist and arm have been feeling a lot better since. I even picked up the Yamaha again yesterday after a week off from it and my arm started to hurt again. Something about the ergonomics of this model is off. It's a shame, because I instantly bonded with it and love the tone and feel of it (and stainless steel frets and pickups, etc.). So be aware of all that when you buy one of these and make sure you have at least 30 days to return it wherever you get it from.

I needed to set it up slightly as the action was too low for me. It still plays really easily. The sound is very clear but not thin. It's pretty versatile with the hss pickup configuration. It sounds strat like but I would say it is more pristine on top of that. Tremolo is nice. I don't notice that this guitar is not the professional as it is nicely made.

Pickups are bright and sparkly,Whammy bar is excellent, stays in tune even with heavy dive bombingFrets are silky smooth ad is the satin finish maple neck.Locking tuners are amazing. It's quite a heavy guitar, but you soon get used to it.Well balanced so that helps with the weight. Plays fantastic straight from The box. Nice low action

The most amazing guitar I've tried. Everything is beautiful, from the feel to the materials used to the versatile hss sound. Truly my one and done.
