1st tasted this whiskey at a fancy birthday dinner. It was really smooth unlike other whiskey's I've tried. After googling the brand, I realized that this is one of the best whiskeys out there. I mean, if you want a really good one from this brand it's going to break the bank for you but some of my whiskey lover friends say it's worth it.

Birthday gift for the dirty thirty

Bought this for our buddy who reached his 3rd decade and has become a minor whisky enthusiast. He loved it. Best gift of the evening. Had a glass and it went down smooth and tasty. ((Or whatever adjectives you should use for describing whisky))

Excellent, Unique Taste

Unusual taste, a little fruit and sweetness. Very fragrant. Very good finish. A little hard to find but definitely worth the effort.

Yamazaki 25 year is the greatest whiskey I've ever tasted. So I decided to try their 12 year, with of course no expectation that it will be anything close. I certainly think it is a good whiskey, but not worth $100 at all. This was barely better than Johnnie Walker black label.
