House of Suntory present this truly remarkable whisky from Yamazaki, the oldest distillery in Japan. Aged for a quarter of a century in a combination of Spanish and American oak, and cruicially, Japanese Mizunara casks. This wood is known for imparting a wonderfully unique flavour on Yamazaki expressions, which has been described as a mix of coconut, sandalwood, vanilla and sweet Japanese incense. Bottled in 2021, and presented at 43% abv.
