There’s a reason you chose a buffalo grass lawn. Hard-wearing and slow growing, they provide dense textured lawns that are drought-tolerant, low maintenance and water efficient. Not only that, but they’re a lush green colour, and soft to walk on. It doesn’t get much better when it comes to lawns. Although buffalo grasses are more weed resistant than other varieties, it’s almost impossible to completely stop some broadleaf weeds such as dandelions, clover and thistles from growing. It’s especially formulated to control weeds in buffalo grass, which is more susceptible to herbicides than other varieties of grass such as Couch, Kikuyu or Queensland Blue. Yates Buffalo PRO Weed n Feed Hose-On is designed for the selective control of large areas of bindii and many broadleaf weeds in buffalo grass, without destroying the grass itself. You’ll see visible weed control within a few weeks on broadleaf weeds that haven’t flowered yet. The liquid formula doesn’t need mixing or diluting; all you need to do is attach it to a hose and start spraying. It also contains a fertiliser containing iron and nitrogen to promote strong root growth, and help the grass maintain its rich, green colour. Give your buffalo grass the care it deserves. Easy to use, liquid hose on that kill weeds and feeds lawns at the same time. Specially formulated for use on buffalo lawns. Selective control of bindii and most broadleaf weeds in lawns, with added fertiliser for healthy green lawn growth.

I've used the Yates weed n feed granular a couple of times before with good results, so i thought i'd try it with the hose on. No good unfortunately. Didn't do anything for my kikuyu turf-laid lawn. If anything, more thistles, bindii, clovers and dandelions grew back, along with a few bald patches of grass started to show. It was done whilst there were a few days of sunshine and I sprayed the required amount, so that wasn't an issue. Wouldn't recommend it based on my experience. I will stick with the granular.

It is quite effective but needs several treatments for over a number of months. Now the there only a few weed lef i removed them my self. There also appears to be some manufacturing issue on some bottles. One of them was leaking out and spill everywhere. Went back to bunning and they exchanged a new bottle for me. They initially didn't want to believe me but found a bottle on their shelf leaking and show to them.

Great product. There are ALOT of reviews saying that the hose connector doesn't connect properly and sprays the user, and I would have agreed for the first few minutes of trying to use it. BUT then I realised is has to be double clicked on by pushing it further on with a bit more force. This completely fixed the problem of the hose leaking 🤣Hopefully this helps anybody reading this 😁

Does what it says on the label, just make sure you read it if you'll be using it near plants you DON'T want to poison. Most will survive...most...but anything it touces will be visibly sick for a while. If used correctly (as described on the label) around sensitive plants, no issues at all. The little ON/OFF switch on the actual nozzle is a cool little feature. Covers a good sized area.
I recently tried the Weed and Feed spray, and it's incredibly user-friendly and effective. It helped me tackle the pesky bindi and other weeds, making my lawn look its best. Although I needed two bottles to saturate the grass thoroughly, I find it works well as an annual treatment.Highly recommended for anyone looking for an efficient way to keep their lawn healthy and weed-free.

I can’t connect this to the hose without water spraying out of the connection. Tried two hose connectors, different brands. I tried lifting the clip and turning it to on and reducing the water pressure, nil value . It was $20 but can’t return it no receipt. Will cut the top off and put it in a sprayer.
I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and have used it previously. It worked best in summer time to be honest but the biggest fault people make is not reading the entire instructions. You can not mow for 7 days once applied. Also you can’t apply it to a freshly mowed lawn for 2-4 days. You also shouldn’t allow pets on it for 2 or 4 hours (I can’t remember and don’t have the bottle in front of me) or they may get sick, keep applying until weeds are gone. I have had luck with 2 applications in summer and they were gone but coming into winter with more rain 4-5 applications needed: it works you just have to follow instructions which by most of these reviews people have not and had sick pets or it hasn’t worked. If you’re expecting to spray it on once ... MoreI have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and have used it previously. Bought 4l bottle, the bottle connections are too small or loose for any of my Nylex or Pope connections tins meaning that water speaks out the connections. This has occurred with all weed n feed I have bought in the past couple of years. Never purchasing again. They are probably made overseas and have no quality control. Done with it....
Worked for me. Don’t mow for about 5 days before and after applying for best results and avoid the rain for a couple of days.It turned my clover brown in a few days. After I mowed the clover never grew back and the lawn was weed and clover free. It eventually comes back so maybe a once per month application would be ideal.U also have to check when the hose is connected that the fluid is actually being sucked up. I’ve had one before where the nozzle was dodgy.
