I like this kind of Yerba Mate the best. I put it right in my coffee maker! The lose, leaf kind is the best tasting, better than the one with stems and leafs. It is also cheep and healthy. If you are trying to quit drinking coffee it will help! It sure helped me and my family.

This yerba has less stems, which helps to last longer. The flavour is amazing. I don't need to add sugar, mint or anything, other than just hot water. Since this yerba is thinner it could be tricky if your bombilla filter has big holes, you would end up eating yerba, so make sure your bombilla will filter it before buying it!

As Argentinian and from Corrientes, I have to say that Canarias is one of the best yerbas I come across, apart from another one which tops up from the same region. :) I love it and I cannot stop teaching my children -teenagers to drinking mates now as they need it so much. I taught them the huge amount of minerals and vitamins that yerba contains and good for the brain. It reminds me of my University student times in the '90s in Cordoba city, late hours in the morning studying for exams, partials and finals. The only thing it keeps you up and the brains working is This lovely taste of Canarias YERBA mate!!!
On time. No errors. All really good!!Oh!!... now I see some other comments, in the sense that the bombilla gets clogged.This can happen, depending on the preparation. Uruguayan yerba is thinner and has no branches (only leaves).Preparing it properly is an art :-)
The added herbs don't change the taste all that much. It's the same Canarias grind (a finer grind with some dust). It is a nice yerba, but I think the additional herbs make it weaker. I prefer the standard Canarias yellow bag for a good caffeine hit and theobromine hit.
Very fine and powdery with a good amount of sticks. Tastes I would say better than average, but clogs my bombillas like no other brand Ive tried, and I have 2 different types including one with a very fine filter. Overall I would say it isnt worth it and although its lasted me much longer than other brands and is cheaper than others its main reason for still being around after a month is that its such a pain that more often than not I opt not to drink mate. Would not recommend and definitely wont buy this brand again
This is the first Uruguayan mate I've tried as I've been working my way through the Argentinian brands. This Yerba is very finely cut and very strong. It has a clean hit with a grassy kind of aftertaste. Not smokey but powerful. Love it. Also super fast delivery, great price and brilliant service from URU Shop.
