We had a very bad experience with this product as it got damaged within less than a month of purchase. A part of one of the bats' string was detached from the edge which meant it was no longer usable. The other bat which was used more often is still in good condition which leads me to believe that the first at was at fault for the degraded review for this badminton set.

The badminton set i bought is really good quality as you would expect for a Yonex product. i searched the market before going to Rebel and they definitely are offering better price than others. Service is great too, was able to click and collect

Overall it is good enough quality for a nice casual play. Anything competitive, it would be worth going for something of higher quality. Excellent racquet for beginners/casual play. Good value for money for couples wanting to just play for fun together.

On the instructions, you can clearly see the badminton ground ribon lines, fixed with 4 nails on the field, however this ribbon is not provided with the set. This was also dissapointing, but understandable for the price I purchassed the set. Rackets are 303 model. On one one of them, I can hear a small noise inside the frame when shaking... probably a tined piece of metal remained traped into the tube during manufacturing process, but it does not affect the overall quality or handling. Was in the market for a decent starter pack, this was the perfect set for the price. The racquets were actually quite solid and good enough for casual game play. The shuttle weren’t so much up to scratch, but for this price, the pack was very worth it! Recommend as starter set for beginners or back up set for friends tagging along.
The racquets in this set are all that you need! Durable and sits comfortably in your hand. Naturally, because the shuttlecocks are made out of plastic in this set, they became damaged after two hours of continual smacking around. Thankfully the shuttlecocks are cheap and can easily be replaced. The racquets are still in perfect condition!
Since the 5km restriction was on, my husband and I could not go for a swim at Coogee. We got bored with walking. We ordered this badminton set to play in our building car park which is empty since Covid hits. The rackets were developed by Japanese but made in China. They were light to handle but they were strong. Our fitness app shows the numbers of steps and calories burn when playing badminton for 30 minutes are comparable to 1 hour walk. We're very satisfied with this purchase.
Seems like a good quality set at a reasonable price. Being new to badminton ( or at least not having played since I was a kid) took a while to get the hang of it but now seems ok. Be good if more than just two shuttlecocks included since I suspect each one won’t last that long. But it’s a good product and easy click and collect service.
Bought and tried today, to partially replace Grays badminton racquets (3 of 4 Grays racquet strings busted in quick succession).First of all, the included shuttlecocks are only barely adequate for hit-ups. Buy a proper set of Yonex 10 or anything, to really enjoy the racquets.Grips feel comfortable. Feels like you have great touch and placement, compared to the Grays racquets.This Yonex feels the same as, or slightly better, than the Grays beginner 4-racquet set for casual games.I'd probably recommend just getting the Grays set if you just want a few racquets for a casual hit, since you will likely break the strings at some point, until you have only 1-2 left. Then get the Yonex!
It’s lightweight and steady. Great for a beginner like me as well as a pro like my housemate. It has a good grip. The only fault I can come up with is that the shuttle cock that comes with it isn’t of the greatest quality but you can purchase toned shuttle cock box separately at rebel. They have various types available in different price ranges.
