Even with 50 of Lancastrian blood in my veins, I have to admit that Yorkshire Tea is by far the best tea available in most supermarkets. These 1040 bags are excellent value for money and when ordered on Amazon Subscription, the chances of running out are reduced. So long as youve used Yorkshire Tea, youll have the perfect cuppa.

Im a retired shutin geek, so a Huge fan of The Spiffing Brit. That should certainly be enough to convince anybody that Im a serious person. I also, having lived in Germany and Poland for 16 years, like tea. Yorkshire Tea is Tea. Its the basic experience of a Good tea that you should have. Dont have to brew it for 6min or doublebag it like my dates do to me. Its got a low price here at Wallys AND impresses those online camera girls from England when You give them a tour of the Trailer. Seriously. Trust me.

I bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. Had to pay postage to France as not covered under Amazons free delivery but still worked out to be quite a good deal. Delivery was quick and well packed. On opening the massive bag, was a little surprised at the way in which the bags were haphazardly packed. Just tossed in the bag with not the usual impeccable arranged packing found in smaller batches but I suppose this is to be expected considering the nature of the packaging. The double teabags looked identical to other teabags in a small box we had purchased in UK and brought back to France and using a precision electronic weighing machine we confirmed that the weight of each teabags was ... MoreI bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. The doubts about the quality of the teabags started after the first brew when we noticed a distinct difference in the flavour and strength compared to the known highquality bags we had already in our possession. We tried allowing more time for the bags to brew, but the result was the same. We have now resorted to using 3 teabags to obtain a decent mug of tea for 2 people. We use just the right amount of water in the pot to obtain exactly 2 smallish mugs of tea. So, my question has to be Are these teabags the usual TOP quality or have they been degraded and put aside during a quality testing process If this is the case, this should be clearly marked on the packaging and mentioned in the Amazon description.

I cannot live without this tea, it is that good. Been a tea and coffee drinker for as long as I can recall, and I like mine flavorful and proper strong. With most US brands I had to use 2 bags per cup for strength, but they still lacked the body and flavor I wanted. Most were bitter or flat. Enter YORKSHIRE GOLD...the absolute best tea, period. I have PG Tips as well but prefer the flavor of Yorkshire Gold. A tiny splash of milk or half and half makes it sheer perfection. It makes a lovely iced tea, too.

I've never had Yorkshire tea before, having always just bought another brand. Decided to give it a go as it was on offer and significantly cheaper than my go to brand. Firstly, i noticed the colour as soon as I poured in the water; it was dark almost immediately. The tea brewed really well. The flavour was strong without being bitter- ot has a really nice taste. Im so glad i tried this- i think ill stick with Yorkshire now!

A Wonderful Brew
11 October 2023

I brought this as I no longer drink caffeine after 4pm, but still enjoy the taste of Yorkshire tea. The flavour is just as lovely as the regular version. It creates a wonderful brew. I also sleep way better since swapping my regular Yorkshire tea for the decaffeinated version. When I served this to my partner, he couldn't tell the difference between this and the regular version. I would definitely recommend this, especially for those who struggle to sleep due to a high caffeine intake.

Great Taste But A Big Question Mark
25 April 2022

This really is indistinguishable from 'proper' tea.The big question mark is that methylene chloride is used to remove the caffeine.Methylene chloride is a powerful chemical paint stripper. While the amount used to decaffeinate tea will be small it isn't a pleasant thought that the tea you're drinking has been in contact with any chemical such as paint stripper. Not when there are much safer methods available.I have to avoid caffeine for genuine health reasons and have no wish to swap one harmful chemical for another. When they start using the Co2 method of decaffeination I will buy these bags again.

Ignore the negative reviews!

You won't get an all day breakfast tea that's better! Trust me I've tried the lot for years trying to find it! Makes all other teas tasteless in comparison, lovely tea taste and malty it's perfect. Anyone leaving negative reviews won't be making it right, probably a few stirs and loads of milk! I live in a hard water area and this is perfect with a water filter. You can even try bottled water from Harrogate where its blended or other soft water from Scotland but I've found just filtering water is good enough and can't find any variable taste unless the filter needs changing. Rolling boil water straight in the teapot 1 bag per person. Aim for about 225ml max water per person, stir then leave it for 4 minutes. I did try clipper organic tea on my last shop as not had it for maybe 3 years, this made a a decent brew but way behind Yorkshire, sort of flat but still better than PG that was nice about 30 years ago not now! It's when you try other teas you see a world in difference in taste.

Review of Yorkshire Tea 480p Tea Bags
1 August 2023

Love Yorkshire Tea. Each brew always tastes great. Very aromatic. Not a weak tea. And this Iceland 480p Tea Bags package is a fantastic bargain. I take a portion and then securely tape the package. Takes a long time to run out. Thanks.

refreshing cuppa

I drink A LOT of tea and coffee, but after experiencing issue with high blood pressure around 14 months ago I made the decision to switch to mostly decaf. Some are a bit thin tasting, but Taylors Yorkshire decaf tea is rather good. It has a full bodied flavour and, unlike some others, it's honestly quite hard to tell the difference between the full-caffeine and decaffeinated versions.
