Even with 50 of Lancastrian blood in my veins, I have to admit that Yorkshire Tea is by far the best tea available in most supermarkets. These 1040 bags are excellent value for money and when ordered on Amazon Subscription, the chances of running out are reduced. No more having to drink inferior tea from the local shop until you next stock up on your Yorkshire Tea Without want to start another War of the Roses, use fresh water every time you make your brew. Never reboil water within the kettle And to be kinder to the environment, only fill the kettle with enough water for your cupteapot Use boiling water not 908060 deg and add to the cup with your tea bag in or a teapot that has been prewarmed. Set your timer for 4mins soft water, 4mins 30secs hard water. Im not sure what to write really. I mean what do you expect from a bag of tea The bag is much bigger than I was expecting it to be, to me this isnt a downside, I mean it houses 1K tea bags. The bag has about an extra 10 head room that technically takes up space but you could fold it over and push it against something. As for the rest it was in date not that it really matters, tea leaves are dried, if you keep them dry they should last a fair while. They taste just like Yorkshire tea, what a massive surprise. Tea for the most part is tea, I got what I bought, not a whole load to write home about.

I bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. Had to pay postage to France as not covered under Amazons free delivery but still worked out to be quite a good deal. Delivery was quick and well packed. On opening the massive bag, was a little surprised at the way in which the bags were haphazardly packed. Just tossed in the bag with not the usual impeccable arranged packing found in smaller batches but I suppose this is to be expected considering the nature of the packaging. The double teabags looked identical to other teabags in a small box we had purchased in UK and brought back to France and using a precision electronic weighing machine we confirmed that the weight of each teabags was ... MoreI bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. The double teabags looked identical to other teabags in a small box we had purchased in UK and brought back to France and using a precision electronic weighing machine we confirmed that the weight of each teabags was identical to those purchased in UK. The doubts about the quality of the teabags started after the first brew when we noticed a distinct difference in the flavour and strength compared to the known highquality bags we had already in our possession. We tried allowing more time for the bags to brew, but the result was the same. We have now resorted to using 3 teabags to obtain a decent mug of tea for 2 people. We use just the right amount of water in the pot to obtain exactly 2 smallish mugs of tea. So, my question has to be Are these teabags the usual TOP quality or have they been degraded and put aside during a quality testing process If this is the case, this should be clearly marked on the packaging and mentioned in the Amazon description.

I normally drink another brand of tea but decided to try Yorkshire Tea, I love it! I like strong tea and this makes a perfect brew with no bitter taste. This is a huge bag and will last me about 12 months and is good value for money. I would highly recommend.
For me this Tea is quite strong, my Yorkshire Sister in Law loves it. On the up side one bag will easily make 2 to 3 large mugs. My only point would be the large Plastic bag, which I couldn't see was recyclable might be better placed with a recyclable alternative. Plus if you do buy this bulk product to keep it at it's best a large enough container to keep the bags in post opening.
The reason I didn't give this strong, flavoursome tea 5 stars is the packaging. If you buy 160 teabags, they come in 2 sealed packets of 80 and I expected something similar in this case, especially as the bag is not resealable. The bags are loose though and 600 is a lot to decant into an airtight container.
I was asked to review this pack - it is huge and unfortunately not resealable which would help with freshness. As for the tea it is very good as long as care is taken not to let it get too strong. I got my teapot out again as I felt it merited a proper tea making process and it makes a lovely cuppa!
Item arrived in timely manner. Amazon Box not strong enough and was well split open. The tea to me is still one of the best on the general market and very consistent. Many are tasty sometimes and stewy at other but I have found Yorkshire all good. I know tea, like coffee, is very personal tastes, but for me I always enjoy this one, and have used it for many years. I have tried many blends and makes but always come back to Yorkshire. This bulk bag is good value too and will keep us going for a while. 5 No Problems
I have been buying these one cup tea bags for some time. However the latest purchase is very disappointing. The bags come in pairs, the problem is one bag is normal strength the other far weaker. Why I am taking this up with Taylors of Harrogate the company behind Yorkshire Tea.
Great hearty tea, lovely when you want a strong cup. Packaging is 600 bags in the plastic bag and not individually wrapped unfortunately. Probably great for an office but a lot to decant and seal when it is for home consumption
