I enjoyed this more as I realised that it did not have the tea bag taste. While the tea bags I had bought previously are convenient, the loose tea brought out the cleaner mellow taste. Besides, the amount of tea leaves can be adjusted by trial and error to suit ones taste. Also when on offer is very reasonably priced.

Great "tea" taste - bold but not bitter. It consistently brews-up a great cup of tea and is one of my favorites. I prefer loose tea over "bagged" tea and Taylor's Gold is a prime example why. It consistently makes a tasty cup of tea.

This is a really good hearty smooth cup of tea. I have both the red and gold label, red is less expensive, whereas the gold is supposed to be the best of the best - not sure if I can taste the difference. No matter what, the price is very reasonable, less than 10 cents a bag for red, and a bit more for the gold. At that price I can afford to spoil myself.
This is my go to tea for everyday, life is far too short to drink bad tea. Because this tea is strong and has a good flavour, is not necessary to use as much as you do with some other loose leaf teas. I am more than happy to have a good supply of this tea in my pantry to ensure I can always drink it. The packaging is attractive and keeps the tea fresh.

I actually shop at Waitrose just to be able to buy loose Yorkshire gold even though it's out of my way...No other supermarket seems to stock it locally, except as tea bags. Tea is such a bargain beverage and this in my opinion is the best brand .
