This is perfect for if you like a bold, strong and malty black tea for the mornings. Much stronger then Yorkshire Gold is, and not as floral. But other then that, both do taste similar. I prefer the Gold over the Red but I do drink and like both teas. Although, I do recommend getting the loose leaf over the bagged tea, just because I think it has a better flavour.

As Im not happy with the micro plastics associated with tea bags we have reverted to using loose leaf tea and Im so glad that we have. On drinking my first cup, I was immediately transported back to my childhood, when tea tasted like tea! In fact I was surprised how much difference it made, and realised how we had been accepting an inferior taste for many years. So if youre in two minds whether to try it or not - go for it, youll be glad you did, its definitely worth the extra effort. Also because the leaves of this particular tea are quite large, theres no seepage through our tea strainer (readily & cheaply available on that well known auction site) into the cup.

Enjoying my fine cuppa here in Kentucky and also provides me a reason to use my fancy schmancy tea strainer. An old woman told me once that tea tastes different and better in a china cup than in a mug; and I've found it true. Robbie Davis, Owensboro Kentucky USA Your website was easily navigated and the leaf is great.

Yorkshire tea is perfect. Makes a great cup of tea. I normally buy tea bags but it is nice to get the tea pot out, especially when guests arrive and letting this brew. Pouring into cups makes a nice occasion to have a break get together etc. I purchased mine as part of a promotion.
I’m a lover of loose tea but suddenly find they all taste different…? I loved the Waitrose own brand (red label) but can’t always find it? I’ve found the Yorkshire Tea to be very strong, but have gone back to it because I can just use a little less each scoop.
We liked this tea and would buy again. My husband is usually very fussy with his tea and doesn't buy tea from regular supermarkets. It's not too strong and one packet lasts for ages. We do this in a teapot and after 5 mins it's great. We always drink this black, not sure how it tastes with milk. I will buy again in the future. I boucht this as a part of a promotion.
My immigrants grandparents were from Ireland (grandfather) & England (grandmother) so a pot of good black tea was always a part of their home. My father would even when I was quite young, give a good cup of black tea with milk, and a piece of toast, for any illness. To this day, if I feel off, I crave tea and toast. THIS tea is what I grew up with, and other teas pale in comparison. If you want real English tea, this fits the bill. Rich, robust, and mellow, not bitter, it's is my all time favorite. I just miss the little cardboard cans it used to be sold in, wish those would make a comeback, they add to the originality of the product. Buy this tea, brew per instructions, and ENJOY!! If you like add a bit of milk, and make yourself a piece of toast to go along with ... MoreMy immigrants grandparents were from Ireland (grandfather) & England (grandmother) so a pot of good black tea was always a part of their home. Strong but not bitter, just a good, black tea. It can hold its own to a little milk. The leaves are ground very finely and you are likely to have some sneak through your tea ball into your brew. I enjoy it.
Coarse powdered tea. NO Leaves. Just tiny crumbles which seem to me to be the dregs from the actual tea leaves. It says "black tea" and it seems to be a mix of many kinds. It says ""produce of more than one country" so I think they just dumped all the leavings of the actual leaves together. The good part is that it does smell and taste like black tea. But I do NOT want powdered tea, so I will not buy it again.
Great value. Traditional English tea. This tea is very popular in England. Available everywhere. Great taste if brewed correctly. Excellent price @ Walmart. So vey happy Walmart carry’s this on Walmart.com.
