If you look in the Q&A you will notice that many are confused about the type and origin of this collagen. To me it seems it's bovine collagen of type I & III, but it would be nice if they stated that explicitly on the product page and on the package.I also wish this was a bit less expensive.In summary, I'm pretty happy with this product and I recommend it. 👍

I personally didn't have high hopes for this product but was actually surprised after finishing the bottle. Just a brief background, I dealt with over excessive hair shedding for the past 2-3 years. My doctor mentioned it could be due to stress and I never really had assistance on helping lessen the hair shedding. Therefore, when I got the chance to try Youtheory Collagen I was all for it. As directed, I took 6 tablets every day -- which to be honest, that's way too many pills to be taking. I will say that between Youtheory Collagen and Vital Protein Collagen, I notice that I have way less hair shedding with Youtheory than with Vital Protein. I was a little unhappy about the 6 pills a day thing, but I already take vitamins and supplements twice a day, so it wasn’t terrible to add into my routine. I’m not bothered by the taste (I take NAC and Blood Builder, so I KNOW what bad pills taste like) and I prefer pills to a powder, hands down.
