The new perfume, L'Homme Intense will announce the fall collection by YSL. Influenster kindly sent me this #complimentary to test. If you're curious about the candidness of my reviews, know I'm a Capricorn....my thoughts are inescapably my own. :) is an intriguing fragrance that has made it into my partner's regular scent rotation. From the notes description, and from my experience with YSL perfumes in general, I anticipated this masculine-leaning fragrance being stronger/more intense. After deliberating a bit as to whether I'd prefer this EDP to have more longevity on my partner, I've concluded that one of the primary draws for me (outside of the scent itself), is how subtle it is. Coupled with it's exceptionally well-balanced (and well-chosen) notes, I could definitely see it being a universally attractive cologne. For those with scent ... I was originally excited to receive this, but I’m afraid to say that there’s nothing attention grabbing or special about this fragrance. It’s sort of bland and folds right in with the rest of the l’homme flankers. It does share similarities with the OG but it’s minuscule. It smells competently done and I’m not saying it’s unfinished but after the dry down there’s nothing special about it. It opens warm and decently sweet with ambery characteristics. I don’t know if this is just me but the opening has a weird coconut note to it that stays for a while. The citrus in here doesn’t play that big of a role it’s sort of just a light nuance the leads you to the mid and dry down. As it dries down it freshens up ever so slightly. It comes out as slightly vanillic instead of ambery. Kind of like a lightly spiced woodsy vanilla. Not a ton of vanilla just a smidge. Longevity on my skin was kind of disappointing because I don’t think I could smell anything past six hours. The ambery woodsyness of this frag adds to how masculine it is. I see a subtle man wearing this. He doesn’t need to be flashy or anything because everyone already know by his presence that he’s the man. This may work better as the weather cools down, i’m excited to see how this frag works when my body heat is able to push it out in the cold. Can’t wait until fall and winter.

I am quite picky about the brand and scent of cologne for my boyfriend. I gave him YSL before, and we both adored it. That's why I was thrilled to present him with this gorgeous L'Homme Eau de Perfume by YSL as a surprise. I adore everything about the bottle, from the shape to the aroma that it leaves on him. It smells like wood and bourbon oranges. The mixture is fantastic. really elegant and manly. Ideal for wearing on a romantic date night or every day to work. Key components in this citrus woody smell include vetiver, bitter orange, and oakwood. making your man feel rich after leaving. According to him, it "smells like a superb cognac."

I recently purchased YSL L'Homme cologne and was initially impressed by the scent. It has a clean, fresh aroma with notes of bergamot, lavender, and cedarwood that make it perfect for everyday wear. However, upon closer inspection, I also detected hints of amber in the fragrance, which added depth and warmth to the overall scent. While the amber note was pleasing, I found that the longevity of this cologne was extremely weak and faded away quickly on my skin. This was particularly disappointing, as I have had similar experiences with YSL LNDL cologne in the past. While the scent itself is very appealing, the lack of lasting power is a major drawback. Overall, while I appreciate the attractive fragrance of YSL L'Homme I wish it lasted longer i.e. poor longevity. It's ... I would recommend more than one spray if you use this. Consider using the longevity tips like moisturizer beforehand as well.
I was nervous about if my partner or I'd like this because the description didnt sound good to me at all. Luckily YSL doesnt make bad perfume/cologne so i had a little faith stored away. I was pleasantly surprised not just because we liked it but because of the compliments they continue to get when wearing it! I would definitely say it's a masculine scent because it's fresh and spicy but it is subtle. When i think of a strong masculine scent my mind immediately thinks overpowering (maybe im alone with that thought) but this very subtle and there but barely. If that makes any sense? I think it would pair nicely for date night or even a casual grown up gathering. While it isnt overpowering i still think there is something very masculine about it. So i was secertly ... So i was secertly disappointed that i wouldnt be able to pull it off. As of lately ive been drawn to more unisex fragrances. I think this would make a great gift for Dads on fathers day. I really like the packaging as well, it feels classy and elegant but in a strong manly way. It's simple but still looks nice in a collection or sitting on its own. I have no negative feedback, its a good long lasting cologne.
I’m glad I have added this to my cologne collection. I will say this performs really good in cold climates. It’s got a slight fresh, citrusy scent in the beginning but it’s all about the dry down. The base has this aromatic spice with hints of woody notes that are combined with a slight sweetness females love as I got a lot of compliments while wearing it. Again, I wouldn’t wear this during the summer unless you’re outside at a sky deck or rooftop bar at night as high heat would and could make this cologne very obnoxious in my opinion. Get your bottle at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and I believe Macy’s carry this too.
This smells dope! Very classy fragrance! Unfortunately I heard it is now discontinued. It citrusy, spicy and woody with some leather undertones. It has a orange syrupy sweetness to it. Performance is average as I get 5 to 6 hours on my skin with an hour of projection, but that's to be expected when it comes to this line. The majority of them all have the exact same performance. With that being said if you're a fan of this line regardless of their performance I think you should have this one in your collection IMO. 👌🏼𝗟'𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 by 𝗬𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 is a Amber Woody fragrance and was launched in 2013. This is one of my favorite scents hands down! I've worn this one since it first came out. However, the last 2 bottles I purchased do not have the same longevity as my older ones! It still doesn't stop me giving it 5 stars! There is nothing else that resembles this scent. It's very warm and I feel like I'm being swaddled when I wear it. Always so many compliments! I hope this one doesn't get axed as it's the best one out of the collection, and I have them ALL! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this as it's not an overwhelming scent and not intrusive to others.

Most of the official notes are fairly easy to identify: bitter orange, bergamot, lavender, germanium, cognac, cedar, oak, vetiver...but I also picked up hints of mulled spice, aromatic crisp gin, a dab of palo santo (such a tiny amount), and subdued pepper (I'm betting this is the bergamot coming through). It's a solid choice for fall and winter months, while also being light enough for a night out during warmer seasons. My partner mentioned that while his favorite cologne is a little sweeter and is still his signature go-to scent (it's also my fav on him, ), this YSL one has quickly become our 2nd fav. It's reminiscent of the other cologne, yet different enough to stand out on it's own.The bottle's nod to old-fashioned whiskey glasses, along with the amber hue of the fragrance itself, give me art deco vibes, and I'm digging it.If you're curious about the candidness of my reviews for complimentary products, know I'm a Capricorn....my thoughts are inescapably my own. :)
