These look like the pretty good Zeiss Lens Cleaning Wipes. But they are not the WIPES! The WIPES have a light solvent (with alcohol I believe) and they attack and remove oily fingerprints and any other dust or grime (always use a blower or soft brush to remove particles first).These CLOTHS are moistened with a very tiny amount of soap solution. They are inadequate for anything but cleaning glasses. Even then they struggle to get the tiny area clean. They won't clean a computer or tablet screen and they are not adequately moisturized with the proper solution for camera, binocular or telescope lenses and they leave a residue!In short: DO NOT BUY THE CLOTHS get the WIPES!

So, yes, they are moist, but just barely. I've used these before and liked them. But this time they are almost dry. If there is something even a bit oily, there is not enough moisture to break it up; so it just smears. So, I'm using these more as lint free wipes, applying additional lens solution first.

These work fine, Zeiss says they are safe for glasses and lenses with special coatings. I use them when I am out of the house. When I am at home I use large bottles of Zeiss lens cleaner solution. Either way I always use my large white Zeiss microfiber clothes. Tip: keep the microfiber clothes from your glasses separate from the ones for your lens. You don't want to transfer oil from your face onto your lens. Tip: Zeiss microfiber clothes are reusable. I hand wash them 3 or 4 at a time with soap and then bleach; hang them up and let them air dry.
Zeiss changed the formula of the cleaning solution from the last time I ordered these. The old solution seemed to be alcohol-based and worked great. The new formula has little odor and does not work nearly as well. I often have to use two or more now when I would use one of the original formula. I will not buy these again.
You always need clean lenses. On your cameras or on your eye glasses. With some ZEISS Pre-Moistened Cleaning Cloths in your pocket you are ALWAYS ready to go with a clean lens. J ust remember to dispose pf the wrapper and you qualify as 100%
I had these for a recent trip to clean my lenses in between spray from waves. I had read that they did a very good job of that, and I figured that the alcohol base would really help. While they do a good job cleaning spray or smudges, they unfortunately leave behind a ton of little white pieces of the cloth (I guess I would call it lint?). If you use your rocket blower right after, it's great, but a cloth that leaves behind a lot of itself doesn't really meet its purpose.
