This is a fantastic glass! compact a lighter than I thought they would be. I wanted to wait for awhile before I made a review. I have had them about 16 months now. Very happy ..Very! do yourself a favor and study up on the capabilities of these before you buy something else!

I purchased a pair of these RF Binoculars before the start of the season. These binoculars are far beyond what i have ever used in the past. As a guide, I purchased these for their multifunctions capabilities. Every option performed to perfection without fail. The built in range finder is a an added feature that allows me to carry one piece instead of two without adding weight. These new RF binoculars are simply AMAZING. The bluetooth feature allows you to add ballistics with ease and the built in weather station will do the atmospheric calculations for you. This new technology by Zeiss is unparalleled and definitely worth the upgrade.

I recently purchased a pair of the Zeiss 10x42 RF binoculars and must say they are without a doubt the BEST binoculars i've ever owned. The built in rangerfinder features a real time ballistic computer, therefore can be customized to you with storage capabilities up to 9 profiles. The rangefinder also takes into account weather, temperature and elevation. This makes for precision shooting in all applications.

I recently purchased a pair of the 10X42 RF Binoculars and I MUST sat say these are the most advanced binoculars i've ever used. The clarity and brightness are unmatched by others. The built in rangefinder is just one of the multi functions of these binoculars and its capabilities.Definitely BEST in class and worth every penny you spend on them
I have spent but a few days with the RF in 10x42. Optically, there is no compromise. The Zeiss ranging is quickest of the latest from Swaro and Leica. I did not get to use these on a rifle range. The big thing I didn't like was that U can display the yardage and incline/decline; but can NOT display the temperature although it reads it (I confirmed this with a Zeiss representative). I would very much like a temp display in Alaska. Hopefully, Zeiss can address that in a firmware update. Another big plus for Zeiss is they didn't change the shape of their HT binoculars to house the electronics like on the Swaro's which look like they have added lake-landing skids on the bottom. The Zeiss just appear to be HT's. And neither the Zeiss or Swaro have the ghastly ... MoreI have spent but a few days with the RF in 10x42. Optically, there is no compromise. Another big plus for Zeiss is they didn't change the shape of their HT binoculars to house the electronics like on the Swaro's which look like they have added lake-landing skids on the bottom. The Zeiss just appear to be HT's. And neither the Zeiss or Swaro have the ghastly Perger-Porro Prism configuration of the once top-shelf Leica ranging binoculars. Here's my ranking. Optics: tie between the Zeiss and Swarovski. Neither is as bright as their non electronic counterparts but still transmit plenty of light and are Alpha class as optics electronics or not. Last place is certainly the Leica for being too dark. Electronics: 1. Zeiss - fastest read results, no data cards to fool with (transfers data with bluetooth and it works), much better range than the Swaro's and equal practical range to the Leica's in spite of perhaps an exaggerated Leica claim. Mechanical: Zeiss had the best focuser of the three and felt solid and controlled at every place of manipulation. Zeiss' battery also very easy to install. Firing solution functionality: tie between Zeiss and Leica, but limited information here. For the moment, the Zeiss are once again the best RF bino solution you can buy. 2017 you had to choose between the gorgeous optics of the Swaro with limited electronics; or the class-leading electronics of the HD B 3000 Leica with underwhelming optics. Now you can have both in the Zeiss. Buy with utter confidence at Midway USA.
Switching to these binoculars from individual binos and range finder has improved my range finding capability, glassing ability, shooting accuracy, and decreased the amount of gear carried on my bino harness. The ability to specifically input data on your smart phone and transfer directly to the optics on the fly with no cords or computer is literally "game changing"
Quality construction - tough casing, excellent clarity with coated lenses and prism, and good field of view for a monocular. Its is fairly heavy, but the weight provides better balance when scanning, which, of course can be achieved quickly and with one hand.
I have a tough time spending this much for a binocular range finder. After a year of trying to find a lower price---I couldn't find a legitimate lower price. It does what it is made to do and does it very well---better than any other on the market. Buy this if you only want the best. I would like to see the number of 9 profiles increased to about 25 profiles. However no one else offers more---or even this many.
I bought the 10x42 Victory Rf bino’s this year knowing I was going to be doing some elk hunting but a lot of treestand whitetail hunting as well. I bought these for there multifunction capabilities and they worked flawlessly. The range finder worked out to the listed range which is very rare when it comes to range finders now a days and the clarity of the glass makes them worth every penny. I’m glad I spent the money and got the top quality optics that will last a lifetime!
I recently purchased a pair of the Zeiss RF Binoculars. I had previously owned a pair of Zeiss 10x54 Victory HT binoculars, which I loved for their awesome low light performance. When I saw Zeiss offered the same binocular combined with state of the art range finding capabilities, I had to try them. THEY ARE SIMPLY AMAZING! The optics are everything you would expect from top of the line glass and every bit as good as my previous pair, however, as a range finder, they truly shine! I can range soft, (non-reflective) targets out to 2500 yards consistently. The Bluetooth features makes entering ballistics and user settings a breeze, plus the built in weather station does the atmospheric calculations for you. I personally used them to take an elk in Colorado at 600 ... MoreI recently purchased a pair of the Zeiss RF Binoculars. I personally used them to take an elk in Colorado at 600 yards, and the MOA setting it gave was spot on and agreed with other ballistic apps I’ve used in past. I’d have no issues trusting it for much longer shots! These are definitely one of items you get what you pay for!!
