Front of fly covering has holes and tears by second use (how? No clue). And the pegs snapped when I gently hammered them in. Customer support were unable to uphold warranty to me ans advised to spend more on gear to replace

My Dad brought this tent and after years of using it I had to buy one myself.Big enough for road tripping - can fit a double airbed inside with rooms for bags, and small and light enough for tramping. Very spacious with two people and packs inside with a good vestible area for cooking! The tent is very well constructed. It has strong poles and stands up to the wind very well. Even without guy ropes being used.Probably the best feature on the tent is its waterproofness. I've never had any leaks and I've been in plenty of storms.Definitely recommend this tent to anyone looking for a 3 person all weather tent!

Bought this tent for our motorcycle trip around Australia. Great space for two people and their gear. Tent faired well in rain and windy weather. Bit noisy in the wind but I suppose it was blowing gales. Nice and easy to set up and pack away. Only gripe is that in week two of our trip the fly fabric start coming away from the zip and we had to use duct tape to repair it. By week ten there were so many duct tape patches we had to post the tent home and purchased a different tent. If Zempire could solve this problem the Trilogy would be a fantastic tent.

Comfortable, spacious, well built tent
16 March 2023

I was looking for a compact and durable tent I could take away and still put the queen airbed in (the wife’s orders!), or head away with the kids or even go light and compact with just the fly and footprint. This ticks all those boxes. First the tent arrived really promptly. I’ve only used it one weekend so far, but I’m happy with my purchase. It was easy and quick to put up (about five mins or so) and is easy enough to put up by yourself too. The tent appears well made and in line with expectations (based on material types and thickness etc). I did also buy the Trilogy footprint too. It does feel like the floor area is a little smaller than stated, but still sufficient to fit a queen airbed either way. The tent fly wasn’t super tight but it didn’t flap around and I ... MoreI was looking for a compact and durable tent I could take away and still put the queen airbed in (the wife’s orders!), or head away with the kids or even go light and compact with just the fly and footprint. The tent fly wasn’t super tight but it didn’t flap around and I suspect next time I put it up I can remedy this. In summary a great tent that is value for money, when you want some more space but with the option to reduce size and weight too.

Good for car camping
18 May 2023

Not recommended for anyone 6' or taller and best for car camping, due to folded size and weight. Zipper is too light weight to last very long. Tent fabric and poles are good quality. Easy setup. Rain fly has good coverage.

Nice accept…
30 March 2023

Just bought. Haven’t used it yet. Set it up in house three times.I like…The quality feel of the fabric, but weight doesn’t necessarily mean strength.Lots of mesh. Good number of pockets.Sets up in under 5 minutes. Poles don’t use sleeves on tent, saves time and space.Vestibule is good size and nice design of doorway on one side.Double zipper doors had added versatility to a one zipper door.Space to side of each person for gear.I don’t like…No hooks inside ceiling to hang wet socks, etc.Should be about 4” longer for a 6’ person to lay flat.If we decide to keep I will try to update this review.

Really Disappointing

We assumed the description of the tent as 'just the ticket for scout groups, school camps or adventurous families' meant this tent would be durable. It's not. Our two kids have been using ours for 4 months now but the problems started appearing after the first weekend. The inner of the tent is fully mesh, which is a good thing, but the mesh is just too weak to support any tension on it. So holes started appearing very early where the pole clips are sewn into the mesh and where the internal pockets are sewn into the walls. We've had to try and sew up the holes numerous times. On top of that we now have one cracked pole (there's no spare pole sections, although a sleeve is included) and the zip on one door is completely stuffed. We've told the kids they just can't use ... MoreWe assumed the description of the tent as 'just the ticket for scout groups, school camps or adventurous families' meant this tent would be durable. There's no way I'd recommend this tent for a scout or school group (I'm a scout leader as well and know what scout tents get put through). And it wasn't suitable for this 'adventurous family' unfortunately.

Trilogy and Atom. Great tents
16 June 2022

I just wish I had found zempire tents earlier! My favourite is the very roomy 3 person Trilogy ideal for car camping and the smaller compact Atom which I find perfect for through hikingI'm so tempted to look at the inflatable tents now as a great easy weekender option!

Zempire Trilogy - Awesome Tent
30 July 2018

Two of us spent 6 months motorcycle touring using this tent during which time it was transported lashed to back of motorcycle and thrashed in all terrains and all weathers.Never had one leak, tear or seam failure. Strong waterproof fabrics with good gusseting. Our is still in flawless condition. Pegs very light and if careful they work well. Great fast set up as dont need any stay ropes to function perfectly even in wind and rain - so no tripping over and stubbing toes in the dark and good for fast set ups. Mega stable in weather - Great for bike touring (m/c or pedal) Excellent for a couple as "3rd man" space leaves plenty of (bug proof and secure) space inside for gear. Would accommodate 3 ok if storing all gear in vestibule. Having 2 doors very handy. Very highly recommended tent for longer trips - esp if the 2 kilos extra (3 man vs 2 man) isnt a deal-breaker for the mission concerned. Feels very much like a quality tent but at a peoples price. Intelligently designed hard wearing 3 man tent
