When you first buy this, it is a fairly medium firm comfortable mattress topper. It doesn't smell as bad as memory foam normally does, however, there are two major flaws. The first is that there's a 50/50 chsnce it will remain scrunched and never expand as it should. Second, it wears out quickly even with limited use. It is a decent price point but it doesn't stay firm enough for adequate prolinged support.
