Have been enjoying my new bedframe so far. It doesn't squeak or anything which is really nice. One thing that caught me off guard is the wood type is different from in the photo. It hasn't got those multiple layers of different woods and is just the one wood with the dark expresso varnish over the top. Still nice but not what I was expecting, luckily it still fits with the rest of my room. Oh and if you have a big mattress you might find that when you put all the pillows on it completely covers the headboard so that is something to keep in mind [misc_pict]

Easy to assemble-comes with a super handy tool. However, my shipping was delayed, which I know is out of their hands, but it wasn’t a delivery truck issue. It didn’t get out of the warehouse until the day it was supposed to be delivered. I also got all of it assembled but one of the feet in the center bar which for some reason won’t catch the threading on the screws. I tried all the screws that came with it and none would catch the threading but they worked fine on the other two legs. I’ve been in contact with the actual company that makes it and am in the process of hopefully getting a new foot piece. This is in my spare bedroom so it’s not been slept on yet, but I’m super impressed that the center bar has a foam strip down it for the wood slats to rest on for noise reduction and that the slats have not only a peg to brace into (they have 2 sets of slats, a top 1/2 and bottom 1/2) and make sure they line up perfectly, but also that there is Velcro down each side rail for the slats to adhere to so they are immobile. There are also two strips (one on each set of slats) of tape that you can take off before you put your mattress down to help keep the mattress from moving all over as it rests on top of, not in, this frame. Would I use this without that 3rd foot piece. Probably since it’s a spare bed and probably with the missing foot at the foot end of the bed. Would I buy it again even with the shipping issues. Yep, it was free shipping. I’m out zero having to wait a few extra days. It looks great in the small space. You aren’t going to catch your toes on any middle leg down the side rail as they are all straight down the center of the bed, and I’m not kidding when I say a 10 year old could have assembled this it was so easy. Why not 5 stars? I’ll come back and change it after it’s been slept on if warranted. For now, those 4 stars are for ease of assembly, look, and quality appearance of the product- even with the bum leg.

This may be my favorite piece of furniture that I've bought through overstock. Everything arrived meticulously packed. There was no damage to the external box (unusual for one so big), but even if there had been, everything was double boxed and then double wrapped in protective materials. Each part of the bed arrived flawless. Assembly was very easy with two people. I was impressed by the high-quality hardware included and there were several extra pieces just in case. It assembles to look just like the photos. I am very happy with the purchase.

Amazing Simple Bed Frame!

This Zinus bedframe was exactly what we were looking for. Simple and functional.The frame arrived very well packaged. Assembling was super easy and straight forward. We were super impressed at how well all the pieces fit together. This is typically a challenge with mail ordered furniture but not with this brand. Zinus had all the pieces cut exactly correct. Everything fit together perfectly.The bed frame is very sturdy and solid feeling. No shifting or rocking whatso ever. Our queen foam mattress fit perfectly with just enough room for the bedding to hand correctly.Overall, super impressed with this frame and Zinus's attention to detail for a well made product!!

Great product & thoughtful design for assembling

Color is same as the pictures shows. Board and frame design looks simple, but elegant. Supporters are very sturdy. I would like to thank for the engineers who applied “Design for Assembling” concept in the product - Fitting among parts are perfect with just-right tolerance. Each hole has a sticker with a number next to it. I just need to match the unique # on the mating parts, so no wrong assembling would occur. The steps in the assembly instruction manual is a lot more clear than most furniture brands. Even the styrene foams are wrapped and sealed by plastic bags, so that no messy debris would fall off. Very happy with my purchase and will buy Zinus products again.

High-end style at a modest price

I love this bed! Husband and I are not handy but we had this assembled in less than an hour. The quality wood pieces fit together like Lego pieces. It was almost fun to do! My husband said he wouldn’t go that far, but truly, this is quality stuff. The hardware is heavy and nice. Easy instructions. Even the tools needed and some spare parts were included. It was all packaged up beautifully. The finish has a beautiful luster without even one scratch or flaw. 100% satisfied. I’m impressed.

Predrilled holes and wooden dowel misaligned

While the bed frame is nice, the right side vertical headboard support piece had holes and a wooden dowel that did not line up with headboard piece. Modifications to the vertical piece had to be made in order to put the bed frame together. Without the assistance of a family member, I would not have been able to put the bed frame together and for this reason, I will not be ordering from Overstock again. Returning the bed frame would have cost almost as much as the bed frame itself. Yikes!

Solid bed frame, great value

I chose this frame because I was looking for a platform bed that was solid wood. This frame was easy to assemble and arrived super quickly. I am a small person but was able to easily move it up a flight of stairs on my own by carrying the heavy pieces separately. It looks quite sturdy and I like the clean lines - there are similar solid wood frames that go for much more. This is great value as long as it stands the test of time. I have another bed frame from Zinus (a metal one) and it seems they are a reliable and affordable brand. The only issue I have is that some of the wooden pieces had some scuffing/scratches. This bed came packaged very well !! I was extremely pleased to find the bed double boxed and many foam and foam liner protectors to protect all corners and finishing of the bed. The directions were easy to follow and the tools included worked great! The platform boards are designed to place securely and easily and measure about 3”apart. I was concerned that our foam mattress would need further support , but this platform bed is supporting the mattress perfectly . The finish matches all over and I was pleasantly surprised with the over all color. The headboard height is just right. Totally happy !! The only thing that comes to mind is if a cover bead could have been included for the 2 sides of headboard- if showing- would give a further finished look!!
