It is very well made very easy to assemble. Beware the directions label parts with Alphabet but the actual pieces are numbered. Thank goodness the diagram in the directions is well illustrated. It goes together very quickly. The bamboo piece are very nice. We have a 12" memory foam mattress on it and it works great, you can still see part of the headboard and the mattress has great support. We have the queen size. Not a lot of under storage because it's so low to the ground. You could probably raise it with risers. Well worth the money.

This is exactly what I wanted in a bed frame! It sits nice and low, and is well built and rock solid. The style is fantastic.The assembly took me a couple hours by myself, so not super quick, but the instructions were easy to follow and the components fit together nicely. It had a feel of high quality and good design.The only thing I don't like about it is that there are posts in the middle of each edge of the frame, which my brain is not used to and has resulted in several toe stabbings. I think once I get used to it, it won't be an issue, but I think others might have the same problem as only corner posts is much more standard. Regardless, if I had to do it over again I would still buy it.

It feels a little lightweight and kind of on the cheap side but we're putting it in a vacation rental so if it doesn't hold up we haven't invested much in it. Thought we'd give it a try as it was a good price. Nice and clean looking but nothing special really. Note that if you stand your pillows and shams up when making the bed, they'll fully cover the headboard slats. Nice to be able to slide stuff easily under the bed.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this frame. Made of lightweight but sturdy aluminum, with real bamboo accent slats on the head and foot ends. The fit and finish of the pieces and fasteners are really good, which made the assembly process a breeze. It even came with a little ratchet tool as a bonus which worked great. One thing to note: it is lower to the ground then I expected, so don't expect to fit large/tall items under the bed. Overall, for the price I'd definitely recommend it. Also purchased the Zinus foam mattress with this, which I've also left a review on.
I recently purchased a Tempur Cloud mattress and this Zinus Kai Bed frame (Queen). I do not feel like I'm sleeping on 100 of the softest marshmellows. This bed frame is poorly designed and I am uncomfortable sleeping on it. The horizontal slats are uneven and uncomfortable I can feel it through the mattress. It was also difficult to assemble with 1 person. Would return it if I could.
Love the look! It's the right size perfect for my studio casita. Easy to assemble. The headboard hardware can be noisy/creaky when getting in bed and moving around in my sleep. Hoping a rug underneath the bed (currently on hard laminate floor) will solve further noise issues. Otherwise happy with it!
Love Zinus! I’ve used their mattresses for years, and their bed frame too. However I am not loving this new frame I purchased. It’s my fault for not looking closer - it’s so short! I’m tall so this bed frame isn’t for me. I’m sad to have to take it apart and send it back. The design is great, just too small for mePutting together was relatively simple and it feels sturdy.

i like that it was lightweight. easy to unroll and remove the package. It's nice and soft and looks pretty good for the price.. i hate the fact that a huge portion still has not inflated, and it's a big dent. luckily, my grandkids aren't tall, so they didn't notice. will probably keep for a bit but its not a forever bed.
