I wanted a pale timber bed that was higher than the current low modern beds & that would also pack down small as I move often. Also, my back doesn't like curved slats, so this was one of the few beds that had level slats. As usual T&W delivered promptly & I'm extremely pleased with the bed. It has met all my needs these last months without any issues. It's very strong & sturdy, doesn't squeak or make any noises when you move. It's a great height too but not too high - allowing you to store a lot underneath if needed which is a bonus. I only have good things to say as it is excellent!

Love love love this bedframe. I've never been the hugest fan of beds with built in headboard so this worked out perfectly for me. Often these solo bases have a sort of "flimsy-ness" to them (even the more pricey ones) but this one locks together so solid. I also moved house 3 times which is a slat-bed-nightmare and this frame disassembles and reassembles so quick and easy due to the fact its only 4-5 pieces with velcro slats. 10/10

Bed frame is great quality. It comes with instructions that are easy to follow. The pieces were clearly labelled. We put the frame together in less than an hour. The frame itself is sturdy and strong. Very subtle in appearance and would suit a smaller room or minimalistic-style aesthetic. Plenty of room under the bed for storage.

So after reading a lot of reviews and websites details. I decides zinus had what I needed. Low profile bed, no headboard, easy to install.I received my frame as expected. It was heavy for a single person to carry two floors up but I made it.It recommended that two people build the frame. I opened it review and found a quick solution for the 2 people since it was just me. SUPER easy to build excellent tools included it was a breeze and I couldn't be happier. One review said the mattress moved around. I was expecting the same but since I have now a Japanese style bed my tatami makes the mattress to stay in place and it moves about 2 inch from the wall but since my tatami is larger than the mattress it makes no difference whatsoever for me. Cheaper elsewhere. Do your research.

The bed is great. But it's available for 25% cheaper on other websites. My fault for blindly trusting Macy's furniture and thinking it was something special. I paid a premium for my mistake.I'm still in my return window so I'm seriously considering returning it and buying from another vendor. Macy's no longer price matches.

Good Solid Frame

The frame is sturdy and exactly as described and pictured. Two women were able to put this together and though the directions were not clear to either of us once we laid it all out we were able to figure it out and screw and tighten everything in ourselves. I agree with the other reviews that the tools were very good but the written directions were not easy to follow. For sure need two people because of size alone. Took about an hour or so but happy with the results and now that have had it a few weeks find it really made a difference in support of the way the mattress feels. Had a wood frame one before as well but used a box spring. We upgraded to a new higher tech queen mattress and purchased the Moiz Deluxe Wood Platform Bed Frame to replace an old platform bed. Love the Zinus so far! Its handsome, with clean lines and makes our bedroom a nicer place to be. I was really impressed with the packaging, the straight forward construction process and ultimately the strength of the frame. Its impressive. This frame is a great value. Nicely done Zinus. Based on this, we're eying your great looking couches - but we really need a sleeper- Will Zinus please make a pull out or futon version of a loveseat? If so we're in! Also, after a few days of use, once the frame "settles in" you may want to tighten each of the bolts slightly so there is no play in the attachment of each leg to the frame.

High To Low

Decided to discard my box spring & purchase a platform bed for my 16" mattress with topper. This low profile bed was perfect with all my quilts & coverlets covering my mattress. The bed is sturdy and well made. The rustic pine color was not as light as I thought it would be. Which was a plus since my bedroom furniture is a warm brown color. Had no difficulty putting it together but took some time. My only concern was not having a head board. Actually I like the look and have no problems sleeping without it. I'm very happy with my purchase.
