I've tried several other brands but the quality I've come to expect just isn't there. This particular quart size bag has easy open tabs at the top to make for super quick, even one-handed opening which comes in handy more often than I thought. The colors were also enticing at first glance. The vibrant strawberries printed onto the box made me made me excited and confident to store the various fruits and vegetables that I eat on a daily basis. I didn't like how the material of the ziploc bag was a little thin. I didn't think it would protect produce from the extreme temperatures of the refrigerator. I was intrigued by the sealing technology because it insured freshness and wasn't so easy to unseal. I also like the grip tab aspect of the bag. I use the "slider quart size bags" for saving both new / freshly purchased & leftover food, both at room temperature and cold. Been using these for years. Recently I purchased a box of "76 slider quart size bags" and was glad I had not yet disposed of the prior no name brand's 50 slider quart size box because the design and placement of the opening for the "Ziploc 76 quart slider bags" was weird. The "ZIPLOC 76" box design & opening positions take up 3 times the horizontal shelf space versus vertical space that a properly designed box does; the box opening was in the middle of the bags instead of next to the narrow end near the slider that is easiest to grab; and overall the Ziploc 76's box design concept wastes interior space for its contents.
