I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I purchased the Ziplock Freezer Bags, Quart size. This is a really nice product. I think the quart size is perfect for smaller quantities of food. I typically prefer the slider bags, because I feel more confident that they are closed. However these bags have two 'seals'. The top of the bag also feels thicker, so I think there's less chance that they will tear. Overall I'm very happy with these bags and will definitely use them again in the future.

Whatever this new uneven lip seal Ziploc has is so bad. Rips when opening 99% of the time. Fast, slow, softly, hard, makes no difference. It's like not a single person tested these before they mass-produced a billion. Or maybe they did but just didn't want to take the loss. They know they've got the monopoly. No competition leads to low quality. Guess the development team felt a need to flex some muscles. Wasn't broken, nothing to fix, try to fix it anyway, and break it. Genius.
I needed a zip lock bag that was a little bigger than 1 gallon to store sheets and towels. There 2 gallon Ziploc freezer bags are absolutely perfect!I get freezer bags because the fresh fabric softener scent stays with the items better than storage. Also, they are so much easier to handle once filled.after laundering sheets, I put the sheets and pillowcases together in the bag and label what size they are. I also store seasonal towels in them.These economical bags my storage so much easier.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These are pretty decent Ziploc bags. Although I do prefer the ones with the zipper, these get the job done. I wish they were a little bit bigger, however, you can still store a good amount of snacks in them and they will keep everything fresh. You don't have to press down very hard, the seal will close as you glide your finger. I do like that these are microwave safe, just in case you need to heat something up, you don't have to worry about taking everything out and putting it on a plate. They are also durable and hold up well. I would recommend these if you want something that is going to keep your food and snacks safe and won't tear or snap out of place.

It's easy to seal and has enough resistance when opening to provide the proof that the food is airtight. However, a problem that I encountered was the flap area right above the seal on the shorter side ripped in the middle. No impact to the product or seal, but a pain to find open with such a now small area to grip on one side. Overall, the product is great. I purchase this product regularly even prior to this review and I plan to continue that.

My most recent purchase of Ziploc bags is disappointing, as there is a noticeable difference in the thickness of the bag material, and I believe this will affect the quality and my main reason for using these bags. I believe the snack size bags went through a similar change a while ago, which is also disappointing, but less impactful to my personal use. The bags themselves are heavy duty and the water tight. The label holds marker ink well. Excellent product, excellent packaging. Comes in a cardboard box with a quick-pull slot like facial tissues. Used regularly for sous vide, no punctures or tears. Good size for an individual portion (e.g. a ribeye or chicken breast).
