The kit includes a Zoom H6 which allows for versatile recording techniques with four low-noise XLR inputs and two swappable capsules for X/Y stereo and mid-side field recording. A 64GB SD card is provided to get you started right away. The Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun mic helps handle common production sound challenges with its high level of directivity and a frequency response optimized for dialog. The mic comes with an Auray WSW-007MKII windbuster that greatly reduces wind noise making the MKE 600 the perfect choice for outdoor recordings. The Auray ABP-59B aluminum telescoping boompole is wired with an internal coiled cable and an XLR output at the bottom. The coiled cable with right-angle XLR provides a secure connection with your recorder while allowing you to move your boompole freely for optimal placement. Also included is an Auray DUSM-1 shockmount that isolates the microphone from vibration and absorbs movement when the boom is swinging. To complete your set up consider adding a bag to safely hold your recorder such as the Zoom PCH-6 water-resistant protective case or the K-Tek Stingray medium audio bag (both available separately).
